Cody McFadyen That's amazing! I'm sure you daugther will be super thrilled! Was there something specific in the video that made you change your opinion? :-)
Jossers Jungle well to be honest I just haven't had a lot of exposure to pet snakes but you share the same excitement and love for snakes that my daughter seems to have. plus watching you handle them so comfortably during the video had me wanting to see her (my daughter) do the same.
I hope you ended up getting her one! I live with a 5 year old and 2 year old who love and are very gentle with my sand boa, and if you'd like I can give you an update on them once my ball python gets here and has a chance to settle in to her new home :)
I showed my mom this comment and she answered "Ok, this is a good deal😘👍" - sounds like a good sign. :D At monday i'm going to a reptile zoo with her and after she saw all the cute snakes I'll show her this (super nice) video😄 Hopefully she allows me to buy a ball python then .. i love them so much but she is not very happy about it 😅 (sorry for my bad english, i'm german)
This is so false lol!! I've been a landlord for years and every time a renter had snakes or lizards they almost all.had drinking or drug issues . It was weird m
fish are the opposite of easy for a child... you have to check water paremeters, water changes, maintenance and just over all a big commitment and a hobby that gets expensive quickly snake keeping (ball pythons) is a great hobby even on the wallet compared to fish
You are absolutely right. When I am talking pets for children, especially younger, I'm talking their part in the caretaking. I remember having fish when I was younger, in a small aquarium, and I remember not doing much with them. Yes they needed their water changed and cleaning, which I did with the help of my father, and feeding once a day. It also depends on the spieces of fish you choose, if you go saltwater, you'll definitely need to spend a lot time on your hobby contrary to lets say a guppy fish. Having a ball python as a pet, I think, gives the child more opportunity to be greatly involved without having to spend a huge amount of time on it. Thank you for your comment, it's easy to forget that there are actually more to taking care of animals that what you immediately would think :-)
BellaWxlla because I live in Malaysia it’s quite easy to take care of freshwater fish. Just put them in then they live. My fish have been alive for like 3 yrs
I am an active member of the fish keeping community and I agree. Bettas can't live in bowls, and the costs rack up quickly. Off the top of my head, you need so many things, including things people wouldn't commonly think of when just getting a betta for their child, like a heater, water conditioner, filter, test kit, etc. They're not easy, and the kid gets bored quickly of them I bet since it's something you can't touch and only look at. And then the parent has to take care of it for the most part too, since there is so much to worry about and consider even with a simple one-fish tank. I also like snakes but I don't see getting any in the future, lol. There's still a lot I'd like to do with my tank, and it's not like the parents are really into getting a snake. One day though, one day. I'd just adore a snake.
Sandra Real Depends on the fish species I guess, I’ve had fishes since I was 8 and a lot of fishes I got the first time are still living and they need the bare minimum of maintenance. I feed them every day (I do forget to feed them sometimes) , change the water every month and clean the entire aquarium every 3-5 months (It’s a really big tank lol). Most of the times any of my fishes died was after I cleaned the aquarium, I feel like they get too stressed and are unable to adjust to the new water even though I keep the water conditions the same every time I clean it. The filtration or aeration system rarely has any issues and all my fishes are quite healthy. Snakes seem more sensitive to temperature and humidity and lighting conditions than fishes and also feeding fish food is much easier than feeding snakes rats and mice.
Going to show this to my Dad. I will be paying for everything to get my ball python, but my Dad is still hesitant; my mom thinks he's afraid of snakes. I think it's funny that I have to convince him and not my mom. She used to have a boa!
Bri Ryver My moms pretty much on board, but my dad is on the point of, "if you cant keep your room clean, how can you take care of a snake?" I throw my clothes on the floor. Thats all, but that means a filthy room apparently 😐
Bri Ryver my parents are the same way! My mom loves snakes (she has one tattooed on her toe!) but my dad is afraid of them. Of course I am almost 20 so it’s less of asking to have a snake and more of knowing that I shouldn’t buy one myself because (even though I’ll be living downstairs away from everyone else’s rooms) my dad would not be comfortable having a snake in the house. (When I move out however, I really want a Cali king!)
Karissa Williams Hi! It can be difficult to convince someone if they don't want to be convinced. Have you tried showing her this video? I am also going to do a video called "why you shouldn't be scared of snakes" maybe that one can help as well :-)
Karissa Williams ow, shes probaly religius rigth? Well just tell her that the snake that convinced eve to bite was "possed" by the devil not the devils work and than just ask "how many times do humans get possed by the devil in the bible?", worked for mine 😂 good luck😉
Well here's the way I see it and just for the record I'm a hardcore Christian you know how in the Bible it says mankind was created in God's image I think it's more than that I don't think it's quite that animals were created in His image however as they were created by Him I think it's safe to assume that they are inanely as holy as we're supposed to be so owning a snake is not remotely sacrilegious or the work of the devil the snake that Adam and Eve encountered was not an actual snake that was Satan taking the form of a snake but that wasn't an actual snake because there were snakes in the Garden of Eden just like there were every other animal what's more snakes were not denied passage on the ark there are certainly evil snakes just like there are evil people and in my opinion there are evil other animals there are also good ones just like there are good people
Karissa Williams God created snakes, so he wanted them to be on Earth for us to love and admire. Over time, we have associated these animals with the devil because they are cold blooded and scare a lot of people, but God created them and chose to make them exist.
I just showed my dad this video and he freaked. We bought a one month old female and he saw the size of the one in the video and said that thing would strangle you. I know there is nothing to be worried about. Her name is Mistic and your video has helped me so much. Thank you
I'm really glad to hear that it helped you! I don't have a corn snake, but I have a californian kingsnake, they are the same type of snakes, very little difference. Of'course, I'll make one as soon as possible :-)
They dont soak or swim? Tell that to my ball python who every few weeks or months throws a pool party getting water all over her enclosure including the lid.
Ugh same. My little guy likes to swim in his bowl and chill. I had to get him a bigger one bc he loves water so much. The vet said he’s fine he just loves to swim haha $70 vet bill to tell me that my snake is just a little special.... not to mention, after he goes swimming, he always seems to want to be taken out and snuggled with. He gets me all wet! And he knows he’s bad! Then he’ll wrap around my neck while I watch tv in my room and take a little nap. It’s our daily routine after school.
Mine also loves to swim! First thing she did when I brought her home was take a dip in her water. She does it almost nightly, at least 2-3 times a week. She doesn't have mites, I've checked as well as my more snake-savvy friends. No evidence of such.
I could be wrong but sometimes this is a indication that their humidity is too low. Without proper humidity they can’t shed comfortably, but maybe your snake likes to swim? I would check that out if you are still curious
You make videos specific to questions I needed to know such as shedding THANK YOU YOU DESERVE MANY MORE SUBS!! I'm sure you'll gain more now too and I've just subscribed!! I was trying to convince my mom and u helped sooooo much I love you
Marissa Elizabeth Hi Marissa! I'm so glad to hear that! Thank you so much for your kind words! I really do love making these videos for all of you, and when I get a comment like yours, it just makes it so much worth it! :-)
Jossers Jungle awwww well I really do appreciate all this work I'm binge watching because I plan on getting a blue eyed Lucy bp in the fall and want to make sure I know everything!!! Thank you so much for all your work 😊
Marissa Elizabeth you are making a wonderful choice going with a blue eyed lucy, i encourage you to get a BEL that has more than one gene, I.E a fire x fire or a butter x butter or a lesser x lesser...you'll want a BEL to have like mojave x lesser for example, one that has multiple genes, and get a black light, turn the lights off and be amazed
Jossers Jungle Thank You sooo much for making this video!!! I hope my mom says Yes! (Or at least a maybe) I Love your videos again thanks for this video!!!!!!🙂🐍🙃
I’m trying to convince my papa in to letting me get one and he says that he just doesn’t like them and that he doesn’t have room in his house even though I have tons of room in my room and he also keeps telling me to go out in the desert to catch a rattlesnake >:/ like heck no I’m not touching that I want a ball python because there nice and not mean like a rattlesnake
I agree with this video. I have had ball pythons for years now and have only met one cranky one. Even then it was once in a while. He never bit or anything, just grumpy at times. Ball pythons are sweethearts.
Jossers Jungles, I've been watching your videos for almost a year, and I'm 10 years old and have a corn snake, but I would just like to say that I really enjoy all of your videos
Now if my parents were able to understand English ;___; I could translate it to them but then they would just say I'm making stuff up. Subscribed anyway to learn more. xd
Me: goes to mom “can I have a ball python. Mom: no Me: goes to dad can I have a snake Dad: no Me : finds this video and says to mom and dad Now can i Dad,mom: yessssssss that is a good pet josses said so Me: Thanks jossers This actually happened literally after this vid
thank you!! im going to show my parents this, my dad was talking about maybe getting one but i don't know about my mom. later today im going to pull up this video for them, i hope everything goes well! i also love your accent and snakes! have a good day and thank you!
My name is Sally. And my parents said no. I have a leopard gecko and she is the sweetest thing. I got the leopard gecko because my parents wouldn’t let me get a snake. But the other night I asked my mom if I could show them a presentation made by me and for them to open up their minds. And if they still said no then I would accept it as long as they talked about it together. I’m going to download this video and shorten it just a little bit so it can fit into my presentation! I can not thank you enough for posting this :) I will update on if they said yes or no. WISH ME LUCK
You need more subs! I already love snakes and want a ball python so bad but watching your videos just adds to the list of reasons why they’re awesome and i want to be a reptile mom :,)
This is one of the best if not best why to get a snake guide. My mom is convinced thanks to you! My snakes name is fred and he has blackish green coat. Really stood out compared to the others I saw at the expo. Earned a sub and will definitely tune in to other video on how to take care of my little guy. Thanks for the help!
My friend has a "baby" (she got him a year ago and he has only grown 1.2cm.. i know they are slow growing but that's too small) ball python (I was the one to get her into reptiles) but he is EXTREMELY underweight and skinny. She doesn't really feed him all that often because she's at friends houses (and then she calls me to go and feed her snake for her when she remembers to). Not only that but she NEVER changes out the bedding which builds up ammonia from the poop and it's disgusting (I clean it out every time i go over too), I'm concerned hes going to get mites. He doesn't have anywhere to get away from the heat (he's in a 20 gallon long with 2 bulbs and a heat mat) who goes to bed at 12am and wakes up at 4am and she never fucking runs the mister/reptile humidifier I bought for her and I just feel terrible for the poor thing. I brought it up to her multiple times but she is so convinced that shes doing everything right or she makes excuses like her mom won't buy her snake what he needs (which is bullshit she gets 400$ every month from her seperated father). I feel bad because I kind of knew she would do this before she got the snake and I just don't know what else to do. This whole situation sucks.
EatTwinkies13 Haha I wish. I really don't think that would be the best option considering she knows where I live and her mom as well as my parents would probably not be too happy with myself.
You may need to express your concerns with the mother. Explain to her that your friend isn't taking care of the pet properly and let the mother take care of the issue for you. :) best of luck!
Thanks Josser! I showed my dad this video and he seemed pretty convinced, but he only does what my mom tells him. She won't tell me why I can't get one, I know lots about them, and I'm going to try to convince her. Love your vids!
Thankyou so much my 4 year old son really wants a ball python after watching them on UA-cam, and I was really worried about getting one now I feel very comfortable in getting one
Thank you so much for this video I still have to show this to my parents as it's late and I was researching snakes but now that I have this video I can easily show them and get one (hopefully😉) again thank you so much
Jossers jungle I just bought my very first ball python I fell in love with at the reptile convention and I'm watching your videos to help me have a happy, but healthy snake. So thank you for the great info.
I'm getting my ball python tomorrow from PetSmart. I have loved snakes my whole life,no doubt. So a few weeks after by 10th birthday, i wanted nothing more than to experience the feeling of owning these animals for myself. I spent 2 months doing research, and when I finished I was ready to ask my mother " The Question." By first I got my Nana's support on it, THEN I calledy mother. She said no, but keep in mind she is scared or snakes. Although, me being her only child and using my awesome talents, I somehow did the impossible and managed to get her to say yes. After that, I waited until my 11th birthday. Then we started to talk about it more and more, until finally(yesterday), it was time to spring onto action and make some phone calls. Now today, after making another batch of calls, I am getting a juvenile BP. And I couldn't have done it without the help of UA-camrs like you. Thank you, for all the information even though some might think I am too young to take on such a responsabiliy ( Even of you didn't know you helped out a LOT.) And if you've made it to the end, congratulations!!! Stay safe 🐍🐍🐍
THANK YOU SO MUCH, I’m a teenager and don’t have enough to afford a ball python and was trying to convince my parents to buy me one. I would give my dad all the info but for some reason he wouldn’t listen. I showed him this and he actually listen and I might get one now
Love this vid! My parents kept quiet a few king snakes when I was younger and 1 ball python, so convincing them to let get get a snake for my 16th birthday wasn't the hard part, it was convincing them I would take care of him and not lose interest. Well it's been 7 months and I still LOVE my ball python Desmond! 😊
I rescued my first BP baby about a year and a half ago. I couldve chosen him (a regular.) or 2 other morphs. Out of the 2 morphs that were striking at me and very scared, he never once had any kind of defensive behavior. He stayed in a little coil, wrapped in shed. He helped me get over my fear of snakes... its indescribable, the feeling of love I had and still have for this snake. The nerve I had to have to gently hold him while I helped him shed, thinking hed hold a grudge against me or... What not. I soon came to understand their behavior and how they think. They are so forgiving and tolerant. As long as you arent hurting them, with consistency you could probably get a ball python to tolerate just about anything. And even aside from that, theyre just so interesting. I could watch him slither around his enclosure all day. The way hes so curious. Instinctually intelligent. Ive learned to love and or appreciate all the creepy/scary things in life because of him. Plus, Ball pythons are actually super cute! Noodle will always be the best pet ive ever had 💕
My mom is chill and she is the one i usually ask about animals instead of my dad lol. She is pretty chill with getting pets as long as we take care of them and not her(her and my dad get supplies but as long as we do basic care) she trust me alot because i do TONS of research. Im getting a ball python soon and i think she is as excited as i am because she used to have a snake when she was around my age too.
For the people who are DYING for a snake, I just got a baby ball python called Clementine. My mom is impossible to convince and terrified of snakes... I did a 30 slide presentation on ball pythons, I gave her a few facts a day, no begging, be persistent, tell her that they only eat once a week, and find a good breeder. Do the work for her so all she has to do is say yes. Good luck.
I think this would work for parents that are just leery/unsure/ maybe even uncomfortable but for parents that are totally against it or are terrified... well thats a different story. If your parents are totally against it after you bring it up (like mine are) then I wouldn't even try and show them this video lol. Although I do thank you for all the simple and easy to understand info :D I love how you taught your kids to treat your reptiles with RESPECT and how to handle/care for them. I absolutely love your videos and snakes (And hope to someday have a small collection of my own of ball pythons and maybe boas)
My grandfather bred (mostly) Burmese and ball pythons so I got my first ball python when I was 3 years old. I actually saw her hatch (so exciting!) and we grew up together. It was an amazing experience and it definitely taught me to be patient and, most importantly, respectful of animals.
My sister has had a beautiful corn snake for about a year now,I've always liked her,but knew I wanted something bigger.I have never owned a snake before,so I'm looking into good starter snakes and I instantly fell in love with ball pythons immediately.I love your channel, your so informative and helpful.I loved your video on why ball pythons make excellent pets, and knew in that moment I wanted one.Now I have to find a way to somehow magically persuade my mum to get me one😅
I’m getting my first ball python next week on Tuesday! She’s a baby and a beautiful butter morph! I am so excited!! After three years of begging my mom and trying to convince her she finally let me buy one! Thanks to you 😊
I absolutely love this video u explained so much. I have been wanting a ball python for such a long time now. My 14th birthday is coming up and I'm trying to drop hints to my mom that I'm completely ready this year. My mom hates snakes but she also had a lot against rabbits and I have one now and she has grown to love her, so I'm hoping the same will happen for the snake. Thank you for this video
Wow, I can't believe I found this video! There are so many interesting facts and I love how you reassure the parents with those facts. I'm actually showing this to my dad right now (as in after he finishes something) and I hope that he sees that snakes are not these horrible animals that many people think they are. I hope that he will be able to convince my mom that snakes are wonderful pets (because she believes that snakes shouldn't be pets) and allow me to get one!
No luck! My mother still thinks snakes aren't great pets. She thinks they aren't meant to be pets and should be wild. She won't budge! But I still love snakes and hope to get one in the future. In the meantime, I will continue watching your lovely videos and hope to gain more knowledge.
I liked your story about being terrified of spiders and overcoming it by getting a pet tarantula. I've been thinking of doing the same thing because I don't like that I'm afraid of them for no reason at all and they're not harming anyone. I don't think I'll do this quite yet because I'm moving soon but I may at some point after.
Not a snake fan but you have a great way of presenting...very informative and fun! Keep up the good work. (I own t's but was interesting to learn about other things from your channel. Have some friends who keep lots of animals so am always keen to learn more).
New subscriber here! I can't tell you how glad I am to have come across your channel! I just purchased my first Ball Python today, Monty ( I know, real original name here lol). He's still a young one, about 12-14in length. He's an active guy so far and has tried striking a couple of times. I'm trying to just leave him be so he can become acclimated to his new surroundings, but is striking normal for a young Python? I know they're more of a docile snake, but was just curious if that's normal young behavior.
Hi! And welcome! so happy to have you here on the channel! It's very normal for baby snakes, ball pythons included, to strike, hide and shake their tail. They are more agressive and defensive, because they are not used to us yet. Give him some time to get to know his terrarium, feed him well and he will quickly become more docile. When you handle him, do it with care and give him time. He will be a great snake in no time :-)
Thank you so much for your reply! It helps a lot :) I beleive you mentioned in one of your videos that Python's don't really need overhead lighting. I believe this to be true because Monty on;y went into hiding once I turned the light off. I think it was just stressing him. He has a heating pad that he seems to love ^_^
Just like the previous poster~ My 7 and 9 year old sons are crazy about wanting a ball python, I told them we would think about it....After this video I think we are definitely going to try to get one! They are really gorgeous animals!
I'm a new subscriber, and this video helped me a lot, because there was a few things I didn't know or understand. I reallyyyyyyyyyyyy want a ball python, and my mom is terrified of snakes/reptiles, and my dad isn't fond of the idea of snakes either. but hopefully when I send them this they will change their minds, and let me get one. (for their sanity and mine, because I'm not gonna shut up about snakes until I either get one or lose my voice.)
I realllyyyyy want a snake, but my mom and sister are both afraid. However, my dad has always wanted a snake. He doesn't like the current amount of pets we have right now ( 1 cat, 1 dog, and 8 fish). I keep telling them, it doesn't take a lot of cleaning or tons and tons of money so I could pay for it...But my mom insists on not getting one! Ugh I just want a snake alreadyyyyy! The video might be helpful if they actually watch it 😰
Hey, nice video with great information but can you make a video where you give examples of where to buy etc and show the measurement of the terrariums. And second I'd like to ask if a ball python doesn't need more water % in the air. I saw a few other videos telling this.
[STDF]Der_Lila_Baron Hi! And thank you so much! Sure I'll do a video that goes more indepth with terrarium meassument etc. Haven't heard they need more humidity than "normal", the big bowl of water should be fine. You can mist their hide however. I do that sometimes too. A shed that is in pieces or stuck to your bp is a good sign of low humidity. All of my bps shed it all of in one big piece, so the humidity should be just fine. I'll do some more research into it. Thank you so much for asking!
i'm getting a ball python soon, i've always thought a heat lamp was going to be used. so should i just use the light in my room and buy a heating pad, ( no windows near by)
I'm considering getting one for my self. I used to have corn snakes and they were great. My only concern is living in dry climate. Our house is usually around 20% humidity. Anyway very informative video thank you for posting this!! I subbed
My friend has a rescue ball python and since they got her she has always been stressed and they have tried everything to make her happy but it won't work. My friend and his mum hav to avoid handling her because she has bitten them multiple times. However they hav a boa and 2 corn snakes that are extremely calm.
I have to write a persuasive paper on ball pythons. i got to paragraph 3 and started to slow down, and scrolled through youtube and..... was suggested this video. I hope this helps convince my mom! shes just grossed out by everything that has to do with snakes. the way they move, breathe, eat, ect... so i hope informing her will change her mind
I'm glad I got a ball python. Last year at a reptile show in San Jose at the Santa Clara county fair I bought my first BP. A normal, and young one she was, but after 9 months shes big now from 18 inches - 31 inches and 406 grams. I bought another Ball at the one in LA this year in January, 5 month old male pinstripe. Originally wanted a bearded dragon, but went with a Ball since breeders recommended me as a starter. I paid everything for them, looking forward to raising them, and breeding them someday when they're older.
Luisa Silvain Hi and welcome! I'm so glad to have you onboard! Getting your own snake is so exciting!! Do you know which one you want? Thank you for watching! :-)
At first I really wanted a ball python only because I hear so many good things about them besides them being picky eaters, either way I would still love to have one, but now that I have been watching your channel I was really mesmerized by your beautiful boas. Maybe down the line with more experience I would probably get one for myself. Thank You!!!
I would love to have a ball python to start out with, but now that I have been watching your videos I would Love to have a boa maybe later with more experience.! Thank You.
Luisa Silvain Boas are amazing creatures and so beautiful! I can understand why you've been mesmerized! I can definitely recommend a boa as a pet snake, but there are some differences between boas and ball python that might be a game changer. I have an upcoming video about boas as pets, I would love for you watch that! So glad to hear you enjoy my videos! Thank you for watching! :-)
Really I would Love to learn more about them I do not know much, that is why I am very unsure about getting one. Just for the safety of the animal and myself, and yes I enjoy your videos they are so creative and keep me well interested and I learn so much! :D
I am thinking about getting my first ever snake, and really want a ball python, so I appreciate all the info you give! From the research I've done, I was under the impression that I needed a heating pad under the terrarium plus a heating light over one side to create the correct temperature gradient. Could you explain to me more how you achieve a proper temperature gradient for a ball python? Your way seems simpler, but I want to be sure I'm understanding correctly and getting it right. Thanks!
I teared up in the last part coz snakes for a long time has a bad reputation when in reality they will never gonna hurt you unless you provoke them. They are underrated animals.
I think this video might have helped convince my mom to let me get one!! I need to win a barrel race by the end of next year, but that’ll be so hard because I’m going against 200 people, many of which are the best in the country. Wish me luck!
great video! I've wanted a ball python for what feels like forever now, but unfortunately, my mom is terrified of snakes and my dad is one of those inhuman people that are completely on the "no animal ever policy"
my 8 year old daughter has been dieing for a ball python I was unsure at first but this video has changed initial hesitation. ty
What an amazing Mum!!
I hope you ended up getting her one! I live with a 5 year old and 2 year old who love and are very gentle with my sand boa, and if you'd like I can give you an update on them once my ball python gets here and has a chance to settle in to her new home :)
I don't know who your daughter is, or when you wrote this but your daughter is amazing
Teach your children to love keeping reptiles, and they will never have money for alcohol or drugs.
Tamara Hunt reptile keeping is addictive enough! Haha
Omg lol I love this comment! Accurate & funny.

Me: hey dad can i have a snake
Dad: no
Me: how about a trulantrula
Dad:..... We are getting a snake.
I'm using that now thank you
Same
PfFt- my parents were the opposite. They let me have a tarantula, n o t a snake
Lol I wish that was me
Panzer Krieg omg same
How I got my snek: i went to a reptile convention, bought a ball python and supplies, and ran home yelling "MOM LOOK WHAT I GOT! ISNT HE CUTE!!!!"
Cookielord Haha I love this! :-)
Cookielord My parents would ground me for life if I did that
Kiki Rules99 Well then you can be more whit him/her:)
LML SAME WITH MY FIRST SNAKE. They gave up after my fourth one
Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission lol

Having kept fish, reptiles, and mammals, I can say for a fact that fish take the most expertise and work.
Bri Ryver Your mon sounds pretty cool! Let me know if the video convinces your dad! Good luck! :-)
Bri Ryver My moms pretty much on board, but my dad is on the point of, "if you cant keep your room clean, how can you take care of a snake?"
I throw my clothes on the floor. Thats all, but that means a filthy room apparently 😐
Corbin Hollars same thing for me but neither of my
parents are on board...
same dude but i convinced him
Bri Ryver my parents are the same way!
Tried to show my mom and she literally she said no in the first 2 seconds
Same...
Same and i got lectured and grounded for 3 months
Samr
Zimm Vlogs me too :(
My mom thinks snakes in general are the devils work :/ How do i convince her other wise...?
Karissa Williams Hi! It can be difficult to convince someone if they don't want to be convinced. Have you tried showing her this video?
I am also going to do a video called "why you shouldn't be scared of snakes" maybe that one can help as well :-)
Karissa Williams ow, shes probaly religius rigth? Well just tell her that the snake that convinced eve to bite was "possed" by the devil not the devils work and than just ask "how many times do humans get possed by the devil in the bible?", worked for mine 😂 good luck😉
I konvinced my parents by begging
Over time, we have associated these animals with the devil because they are cold blooded and scare a lot of people, but God created them and chose to make them exist.
awesome video. more parents definitely need to ease up and be open minded when it comes to pet snakes for their kids.
defiant2525 Exactly my thoughts! Glad you enjoyed it! :-)
Jossers Jungle THIS IS THE ONLY VIDEO THAT I THINK WILL WORK TO CONVINCE MY DAD OH MY GOD THANK YOU
I have three pet snakes and I
am 9
I just showed my dad this video and he freaked. We bought a one month old female and he saw the size of the one in the video and said that thing would strangle you. I know there is nothing to be worried about. Her name is Mistic and your video has helped me so much. Thank you
your helping me so much in the process of getting a ball python and convincing my mom thank u love your voice
Danika Jones I'm so glad to hear that! Fingers cross you'll get one soon! :-)
Jossers Jungle This helped me so much thank you but I really want a corn snake! Do you have one if so can you make a video on it just like this.
I'm really glad to hear that it helped you! I don't have a corn snake, but I have a californian kingsnake, they are the same type of snakes, very little difference. Of'course, I'll make one as soon as possible :-)
great information and beautiful ball pythons
DEA- Exotics Thank you! :-)
Awwww you can tell how passionate she is
They dont soak or swim? Tell that to my ball python who every few weeks or months throws a pool party getting water all over her enclosure including the lid.
Shaggy420 she sounds awesome!
Elena Roberts
SOOOO cute, i prey i have a special interactive snake
Mine also loves to swim! First thing she did when I brought her home was take a dip in her water. She does it almost nightly, at least 2-3 times a week. She doesn't have mites, I've checked as well as my more snake-savvy friends. No evidence of such.
I could be wrong but sometimes this is a indication that their humidity is too low. Without proper humidity they can’t shed comfortably, but maybe your snake likes to swim? I would check that out if you are still curious
This video convinced my mom to let me get a snake. 😂 however I need to pay for everything for it, but I'm okay with that
Did u get it?
Marissa Elizabeth I want a snake but my mom is scared of snakes 🐍 but I really want one!!! Thank you Jossers Jungle for this vid!!!
I'm 23, but I'm definitely still showing this to my parents LOL. Great video! I love your channel!
Let me know how it goes!
I agree with this video. I have had ball pythons for years now and have only met one cranky one. Even then it was once in a while. He never bit or anything, just grumpy at times. Ball pythons are sweethearts.
I’m getting a butter pastel ball python today in a few hours!! I’m so excited
Could you please make a video showcasing all your pets?
OJSBoys That is a great idea! I'll do that very soon :-) thanks for watching
I just recently discovered your channel and I'm OBSESSED, absolutely love your videos❤
I'm so glad to hear that! More videos are coming, I try to upload every day! If you have an idea for a video, remember to write me! :-)
You should definitely do your reptile room tour 😍
Great idea! I'll put it on my to do list! :-)
Miglė K.
IKR i went throughher old vids to
Jossers Jungles, I've been watching your videos for almost a year, and I'm 10 years old and have a corn snake, but I would just like to say that I really enjoy all of your videos
Thank you Kristian! so happy to hear that ^_^
This convinced my dad ! Thanks!
Btw I subbed !
Buzzy Bee Asmr So glad to hear that! :-)
Oh. My. God
You are the only one that made a super good video to my parents, I will show them tomorrow. Wish me luck:))
Let me know how it goes!
how’d it go?
@@caroline5345 It worked! My cornsnake is coming in 5 days!
I'm going to try this a couple of days before my birthday and see if my mom and dad change their mind. I'll tell you if it works!
Did it work?
Now if my parents were able to understand English ;___;
I could translate it to them but then they would just say I'm making stuff up.
Subscribed anyway to learn more. xd
Milacat Are there no subtitles in your language. You can just copy paste a caresheet into google translate.
Milacat subtitles
Same problem here

i also love your accent and snakes!
have a good day and thank you!
this literallyhelped so much, sent this to my parents and now I have a ball python. Thank you
My name is Sally.
E Reynolds Go when she's not home, take it all. That's abuse.
Hell no call the police she’s deluded
Call the cops cause it's animal abuse.
12:30 It also takes a few hours to clean their tanks, and that's just once a week.
Thanks Josser! I showed my dad this video and he seemed pretty convinced, but he only does what my mom tells him. She won't tell me why I can't get one, I know lots about them, and I'm going to try to convince her. Love your vids!
Thank you for replying it made my day you are my favorite you tuber
Anyone else watching the video to see if she says anything that would change there parents minds then sending it to them
Good basic info- love the decor of the entire room- the sheds in the background look impressive
I love how you open your videos!
I have a ball python and have had her for one month... just redid her tank and loveiiiinnnggg her she is amazing in every way
Go Glitchin' That sounds amazing!
You have a beautiful soul, Thank you for the videos!!
Hi Olivia!
That sounds so exciting that you are getting a ball python, and your mom sounds pretty cool too! Best of luck! :-)
wish my parent would watch this!
Regan Olivia show them it
For the people who are DYING for a snake, I just got a baby ball python called Clementine.
I got a corn snake in May, and I want to get an Ivory ball python at Christmas
We just bought a ball python for my 15 yest old daughter. She loves him! Wonderful video!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUUU 100 LIKES I ALLWAYS WANTED A SNAKE THANK YOU
Wow, I can't believe I found this video!
Let me know how it goes! :-)
No luck! My mother still thinks snakes aren't great pets. She thinks they aren't meant to be pets and should be wild. She won't budge! But I still love snakes and hope to get one in the future. In the meantime, I will continue watching your lovely videos and hope to gain more knowledge.
Great video, have just subscribed. Love how many reptiles you have
I liked your story about being terrified of spiders and overcoming it by getting a pet tarantula. I've been thinking of doing the same thing because I don't like that I'm afraid of them for no reason at all and they're not harming anyone. I don't think I'll do this quite yet because I'm moving soon but I may at some point after.
Me 30 already owning a ball python watching the heck out of this 😂
Thank you so much im showing this to my parents -along with an essay- to try and get one of the amazing ball pythons
Fingers crossed! :-)
Not a snake fan but you have a great way of presenting...very informative and fun! Keep up the good work. (I own t's but was interesting to learn about other things from your channel. Have some friends who keep lots of animals so am always keen to learn more).
Thank you so much! Really glad to hear you like it! I will keep going! :-)
THANK YOU I SHOWED THIS TO MY MOM AND IT CONVINCED HER U JUST EARNED YOURSELF A SUB
what morph is the big golden female bp
She's a pastel caramel albino :-)
Beautiful snake I'm a Parent and I own a red tail boa.
Great video thanks for sharing your knowledge with all of us...
Could you please do one of these videos for the california kingsnake or corn snake
my parents might get me a ball python and im going to have a humidity box in the enclosure how often should i replace it?
You are always the absolute sweetest ❤️
No I have to thank you for answering :)
i'm getting a ball python soon, i've always thought a heat lamp was going to be used. so should i just use the light in my room and buy a heating pad, ( no windows near by)
I'm considering getting one for my self. I used to have corn snakes and they were great. My only concern is living in dry climate. Our house is usually around 20% humidity. Anyway very informative video thank you for posting this!! I subbed
Thanks! I showed it to my parents. They said it nicely summarized all of what I've been telling them about snakes, esp. ball pythons. :)
So glad to hear that! Seems like you've really done your research as well! :-)
Your channel is so informative.
Your skin is glowing!!!❤❤❤👏
I wrote this down and im gonna try it! I hope it works!
Ill update when Ive tried!
my mom used to think that lizards were better, but this video changed her mind
I've been BEGGING my dad for a ball python
I hope this video helps me!
About the feeding you said for adults every month but i've read in other places that it is 5-7 day for more older ball pythons
THANK YOU SO MUCH GIRL
Thank you so much for making this video, I love snakes hopefully I can finally get one from this video.
Fingers crossed! :-)
Thank you so much! I've been asking my mom for a snake and I'm definetly showing her this video!
Good luck! :-D
I can't thank you enough for this video!
thank you for your advice I am new to your channel, and absolutely love watching your videos. I cant wait to get a snake of my own!!!!
need to show this to my grandma
Lee Love yeah my grandma is the only reason my mom won’t let me get a snake
Beautifully said.
