I also have a question, if I run my business from home but don't want my home address to be available to the public, and can not use a PO box, what do you recommend for this instance?
Well you can try a virtual mailbox or even a co-working space to get an address -- they work for many things (but not everything, like for a seller's permit)

It was my bank that alerted me to my expired SOI. I found my LLC under search, but I didn't do the slide over. I get MANY THINGS that look official, but aren't, so I don't respond to them. Thank you for this!

How does California make something so simple be so complicated? I am pretty smart and had to google how to navigate their webpage, thank you for this video.
Very informative video it is really appreciated! Do I need to wait for them to give me access for me to have a account and to work on my LLC and if so how long does that take.
So you can get your user account pretty much immediately (just need to confirm your email). If you don't have an LLC yet, when you file the LLC it will connect your user account to the LLC automatically. If you already filed it a while ago (someone else did it or you did it via paper) then you'll need to get access to it -- that can take a while to get a pin in the mail unless the person who did it approves via email.
Great video! I just received my entity formation information from the service I used to get my LLC created. Coming across your video showed me exactly what I needed to get my SOI started. My question has to do with my place of business. I have a UPS address and wanted to know if that's appropriate to use for the LLC office address. I work and travel from my home for my business and don't want to have my home address used. Thank you.
It says "street address" so that means no PO Box of course, but I don't see any more definition -- as of right now it seems that they accept UPS store and virtual mailboxes (but not sure if that will be true in the future)

Question in regards to the physical address, I'm currently using a virtual address for both physical and mailing when I filed for my LLC, but planning on switching it in a following week or so but my SOI is due in a few days. Would I just put what's on my articles of organization for now and file another one after the address has been changed? Also, do I use the same virtual address as the registered agent address? I know I'm in a pinch here. I hope to hear an answer from you soon. Thank you again!

Yes, the last time I checked, the LLC needs to be accepted by them before the system will let you do the SOI

You can file the SOI now with the current address to match the articles of org and then file a new SOI in a couple weeks with the new addresses.
