This series can't end yet. You have to do the complete lighting system like the super 73
Upon observation of this video I concur with this gentleman’s fine statement good sir🧐🎩😂We need the lighting setup CD don’t let us down now😔Lololol
i have more videos coming
Its not soon enough... 😢
If I was spending all that cash I would get a Sur-Ron light bee or something similar, but still a great video, Dr-Speed
A Eahora Romeo would be a better choice than a Sur-Ron.
I know this is older but I can finally share your excitement. I just went 72v on my crappy generic Chinese folding 48v ebike. LOVE it. I pretty much upgraded everything. Brakes motor tires suspension battery controller obviously etc. It’s so freaking fun and fast. I did a shunt mod as well. What a difference that made. Wowza. Hello 50mph!!
Just upgrading the front rotor to 205mm should make a big difference in the braking at minimal cost. The problem is finding the right adapter for the unbranded caliper. Hopefully, Ride1Up support can help so you won't have to change out the whole system. I'm using Tektro Eldorado 4p brakes with 205mm front and 180mm rear rotors on a 49# Ride1Up Core-5 XR, and they work great!
As for the Revv 1, I'll go with the 55aH battery, upgrade the brakes, add dual motorcycle style mirrors and a few other accessories, and call it good.
Very inspiring. I am looking at your setup for a daily driver for work. Good job!!
Another great video. Don’t stop here we need a part 6 bro!!
i have another video coming
@@MrCentralDriver sweet
You are starting to become one of the best UA-cam ebike channels out there. This awesome upgrade makes for great content. But realistically (after upgrading motor, battery, controller, brakes & tires), it makes more economical sense to just buy a Surron for a little less money
*He IS the best UA-cam ebike channel out there.*
Surron 👍 about $1500 less. But once you have this kit you can always swap it to a new bike if you want a different look
Like he said if u don't have a chain u are not a ebike and cops know that.
He said alright Im gonna pedal a little bit here lol! Man thats beast! My Revv1 is coming tomorrow. I think I’ll be happy with just the dual battery setup for a while.
Yeah that takeoff speed is there for sure torque seems incredible on that bike now
What speedometer app do you use? Or whatever app that tracks your top speed and range or whatever it does on your rides? Not completely sure what all it does lol
speedometer on IOS
@@MrCentralDriver Thanks
While Super73 may be more comfortable, it does costs way more than a Ride1Up Revv so I doubt the Super73 got any true advantage over the Ride1Up Revv. High prices are typically cons and not pros in a electric bike.
Hey finally setup the REvv1 up i got on cyber Monday like you suggested and it is everything you explained quality is spot on. only thing for me after unlocking when i pull the throttle it goes nowhere then after the delay the throttle responds not sure if am doing something incorrect. and also going up hills its like down to 18 mph slows down a lot other than that its nice great recommendation.
Regarding the handlebars… Have you thought about possibly inverting it so that you can get a lower lean? I’ve seen some members on the group done that to get a café style look.
i dunno if i want them that low
An Absolute Beauty and Beast😮! Congratulations 🎉🎉
sick build bro, it's awesome!!
maybe for a next bike g force zm for a possible build?
One thing good about the NBP motors is they are very quiet. As far as the chain goes, I can use the chain but you have to put two washers on the shaft to keep the sprocket off the frame granted my setup is on a spoiler chopper. I'm just going to get rid of the pedals anyways as anywhere I'm riding you are not going to be low profile on a bike that looks like a springer chopper. As for the torsion bar things I'm not using them, I am using the chain tensioners and fitting the holes to fit the shaft, then putting two bolts one on the top side of the dropout and one on the bottom side of the dropout the motor is not going anywhere. It looks much better also, With the bigger tires and the higher speeds you should also balance the tires you would be surprised how much it helps with the feeling of having better control and ride. As for the cost, like always you want to go fast your going to pay the price be it a Ebike, car, or anything else. You got to pay to play. I'm at 60mph with a 150A controller 72V 40ah 2880wh two batteries that can hold 80A each. The total cost is over $4500.00 but I built my own batteries or it would have cost a lot more. As for the people that just say get a Surron, everyone has one and it looks just like all the rest of the new E-dirtbikes out there.
Great videos. I just bought the revv1. Comes this week. 🎉
awesome bike even stock. we need more companies making parts for this bike now!
I Got it Sunday. It road 1 mile and beeped and no longer moves. Hasnpower. I waiting for them to open now. Also I'm 5.3 any way to lower it?
(Has power) pedal assist nor throttle work. I'm ET so call 12. Say online not for technical support. Any idea what could be wrong?
Nice builds dude! Keep up the work 😅
Hey! So I have the C3 Strom, is there any way you could point me in the right direction for an all-in-one kit or the individual parts (controller, motor, battery 72v 40Ah+ ideally) to convert my C3 Strom into a 72v beast like this? I know in part one you link to the kit you used for this bike but would it work for the Strom also? I noticed you ran into some issues with fit and such I would like to avoid those kinds of issues as much as possible. THANK YOU!
10:48 the kid went OH SHOOT BRUH 😂
Haha yep
I'm really starting to like this bike. I have an Super73 RX but I may want to get this for my son. Can you fit a 5 inch thick tire on the Revv1 like on the Super73?
Same size wheels as a super73. Should work.
... my head hurts..!!
yyyo give this guy a thumbs up he is a legend for this, now my three choices are Lyric graffiti, AR RX 52 or this one rev1up cause i want to do the big battery set up after custmiztion in the future, use to love super73 but after they raised there prices that rubbed me the wrong way, i think its just the windows in me hateing apple a.ka super73
I liked the graffiti for its stock power but it needed the dual battery setup. 17.5ah was not enough for the 4500+ watts it had
@@MrCentralDriver our new Graffiti X is basically what you've built here.... so.... ;)
Man I got my up and running to but idk if I should ride it bc like u said if police see you don't got a chain they can basically say it's a motorcycle
yeah that's what worries me. if your not doing anything dumb, you'll be ok
Basically the first test dummy, for this type of upgrade
Hey man, I think I saw you turn your Apple Watch off on your ride home. Highly recommend, leaving it on for crash detection. That saved my life once.
Should be on the phone as well.
@@MrCentralDriver I was not aware of that! Stay safe!
How would you get this registered since you basically turn it into e motorcycle?
You have a highway speed bicycle? 😂
true lol
I regret buying the hard tail, I feel every bump in the road and it sketches me out, plus I don’t have turn signals :(
Put a dild00 on the seat that works for me I barely feel bumps
just had my first flat on my revv1 ht. what tires would you recommend. ?
Those lectric guys they dunno who we be 🤣🤟👽🚲
outsiders
Hey CD, been following you for a while and looking to upgrade my Revv1 soon as it arrives. Is it possible to upgrade the motor without the 72v battery? I’ve already bought the battery for the dual battery mod, but would love to get the speed as well. Thanks for the content!
Not really. That motor needs a new controller. The controller will work on 48-72v but not changing your voltage will not help with speed. Also you have to tune the controller to what amps your batteries are which I think are 30amp max. It’s not gonna change much but just add weight. Flux will add more rpm from the motor to help top speed but your going down an expensive rabbit hole to get 52v batteries working and a heavy motor made for more voltage and amps
Does the conversion not allow you to hook up the headlight and break lights?
You can if you start cutting wires. Get a 12v DC to DC converter. Then you can wire them if you no what your doing to run off the 72v battery. Quick way is just run the stock lights the way they are
Let's go!!
without any extra upgradation can I really get 54 mph speed by Revv1?
not without a custom build. stock setup wont get u anything near this
If I'm getting this bike would you recommend going dual motor on this bike? Or just a large one in the back?
Large one in the back. Dual motor bikes are great acceleration but you need more amps and wattage to reach higher top speeds. So if you just want more acceleration go with a dual motor setup. If you want top speed and acceleration go single big motor. Keep in mind the back will be heavier than the front.
Spoke dope! What did you set your wheel diameter to?
wheel diameter was not changed and matched perfectly off the bat. no spoke dope. I have this wheel on my super73 and no issues
@MrCentraldriver, I ended up buying a Revv1 with your code. The rear wheel seems bent or something, it wobbles quite a lot. I havent hit any potholes or anything. Since this isnt a spoked wheel, I'm not sure if its even repairable. Any ideas?
is it the tire or the wheel? sometimes the tire will make the wheel look bent if it's not even on both sides. if it's the wheel contact ride1up. it has a warranty
@@MrCentralDriver It is 100% the wheel. I will check the even-ness of the wheel, then if it is even and still wobbling I will contact them, thanks.
What’s a good Ebike for a senior citizen in your opinion?
From having my UA-cam channel and selling bikes and readin comments I see a lot of people getting beach cruiser bikes when they are 55+ because the sitting position. Electricbikecompany makes some high end cruisers
@@MrCentralDriver thanks, my uncle is looking into e-bikes because he’s tired of pedaling and had a stroke couple times.. Need to get him something easier on the body but still can lightly pedal assist if he wants a lil workout
what makes a battery not have much voltage sag?
big battery. less power.
whats the range on ludacris mode?
No idea we gotta do that test one day but I don’t feel comfortable without some beefy tires
I could deal with 52V and 50ah of battery if I'm getting 5,000 watts instead of 9,000. 😁 Just use a size smaller motor and controller for a 45 mph bike with 52V set up.
upgrade the breaks please next part
so Revv1 can go upto 54 mph speed?
if u change the motor and battery and controller yes
Revv1 will be a great Head to Head Comparo with your Super73 72v…..
revv1 should be quicker. better battery, its overall lighter (The super73 enclosure is heavy) also has motorcycle tires and this revv1 has lighter rotating mass.
Where do we get Antbms app?
app store
Oh I couldn't find it in the android playstore.
Why not try put the original motor in front tire and make this ebike a dual motor?
because the dropouts and the axle size are not anywhere close to the size of the rear. wont fit
How much was the total build?
5400-5500 that’s including the price of the bike.
2400 bike
100 cage
1800 battery
1000 motor kit w/ controller
20 throttle
30 miscellaneous
@@MrCentralDriver perfect. Thank you for the response bro
Does your Ride1up coupon code no longer work?
It got used up
onyx killa!!!
The chain issue you are having is an easy fix contact ride one up tell them that your chain is tight on your rev 1 and they will send you a. New chain and tool to remove the old chain the chain that's original on there is one length too short and rev. One up will not charge you for the new chain and tool to fix the bike.
I don’t think u realize this setup is not stock anymore
@@MrCentralDriver If you're using the same size rear sprocket as the original one. Then it will be one link too short on the old chain. If you're using a different sized real free will then that does change the length a lot.
@MrCentraldriver I actually got the red one after watching several videos. But yours was the most influential. Go video on it and I went through your site to purchase the bike about 6or 7 weeks ago And I have almost 300 miles on. I too will be modifying it a lot more. I have some d n m downhill forks that I'll be putting on with two hundred and twenty millimeters of travel believe it was the DMN S8 Downhill forks I'm still trying to decide if. I'm going to go 3000 W or 5000 what but my grandson and I have built 4E bikes B52 bomber style and this rev. Is becoming fast and furious my favorite bike? The B52 bombers that we built one had a 5000 W 1 was an 8000 W running Max doubt it. I think it was fourteen thousand and one was a three thousand watt
@@MrCentralDriver I went for the revv1 Due to the fact I love the frame style on it I need an impressive little bike
Awesome
Shimano M6120 4 piston brakes
better than the mt5-e ?
M20 72v beat me too it plz ;)
💯‼️💙
I think you can get away with out a chain. Just say its a custom scooter lol. Because motorcycles do have chains. i seen a scooter that transforms to a mini e dirtbike lol.
I’ll just say it broke
@@MrCentralDriver broke like my wallet haha
no, the dual display and 52v and 72v systems is not clean.
u need to put an ipad screen on that bike
i was gonna do that for my super73!
u know u can get a 92v battery and go way faster
might be bad on the frame unless you have a slow start
You worry way to much about being pulled over. I am in ny and my ebike only has pegs been that way for 3 years and I have been stopped for blowing to many red lights before. ANd I don't use bike lanes. If anything a cop is going to be more pissed about you doing 40mph in the bike lane instead of riding in the street with traffic.
maybe?
Dammmmm 55

This is motorbike not bike not allowed this monster

First
Great, great content. But then again, just like another UA-camr for e-bike like ( Big Teedo ) upgrading his Ariel ryder Kepler to a 72v set up….it probably would’ve been more feasible to have just purchased an electric motorcycle for the money y’all spent upgrading a perfectly good bike to start with. But it’s ok, there’s nothing wrong with what y’all do…..it’s all in our nature to tinker with our toys, but for me, and practicality, I use my toys for what it was intended, and if I wanted something that I didn’t want to pedal, then an e-motorcycle would be what I would go for. I’m just not really quite on board spending the extra $$$$$$ to upgrade a bike I would never pedal to begin with. But hey, it is what it is 😎…….tinkerers will tinker, and it’s always in our nature to do so just that for curiosities sake. Great post brotha 😇🚵🚵🚵👍
