Only 2% of people in the world have red hair and very pale skin, making them a minority group, and they do get bullied and called names. Disney took away the one character who represented my granddaughter. It took me precisely 2 minutes to create a Little Mermaid sequel, that would have featured Halle Bailey as Ariel’s little sister. There could have been a merman love interest, but Halle’s character could have dreamed of finding and following Ariel. Ursula could have given her her wish..but Halle’s character may have realised that her underwater home and her merman was where she really wanted to be. Three seconds..what’s wrong with Disney’s creative talent? Race-swapping is lazy, and it’s a disservice and an insult to the actresses to recycle characters and not give them their very own princesses.

Peter Dinklage : Plays as a dwarf in any movie he is, even plays a dwarf character because he's a dwarf himself.
Other movie : Wants to cast actual dwarfs to play dwarfs.
Peter Dinklage : Not possible, I have the exclusivity, this is wrong. This is an utter mockery, just like no dwarfs should've play the buffoon in House of the Dragon as well.

Top notch hypocrisy, call it whatever you want but Peter was very wrong to do this. I speculate he might fear another dwarf actor might become just as iconic as him and get the spotlight for a moment, because Peter was made famous only thanks to his role as Tyrion. Get another show/movie with a story just as good or better, and that person might become famous enough to take roles for himself and get a carreer.
Take my opinion as biased if you want though, I don't care the slightest of that movie, I only hear bad stuff about it, I don't like Gal's acting even though through this video she seemed to have a lot of fun playing her character. The Peter Dinklage declaration just didn't passed well with me.

You know what Mr. Iger, and in fact all of these studios, need to understand? That there's a difference between DEI and diversity in media. There's a difference between being Woke and caring about sociopolitics. You know what that difference is? The whole driving force behind the story of Snow White is that the Evil Queen is number 2 to Snow White. She's an incredibly attractive woman but shes just not as fair as Snow White. That's what gets the plot going.
Beauty is subjective, it is in the eye of the beholder. However, most would agree that Gal Gadot is more attractive than Rachel, she just is. So, the whole thing is a fallacy.
Now, if it was the most intelligent of them all...actually, wait. Now I type this, that wouldn't surprise me if Disney DID take that route! Some bullahit feminist, intelligence crap. I gurantee thats what they do!
