I love getting an ice cream cone on a hot day. I know that it's not Disney-specific (in fact, it's Umpqua; go Oregon!), but there is something great about walking around Main Street on a hot day with a giant ice cream.
One of my disappointments about Disneyland is that they have virtually nothing a diabetic can eat or drink. Having said that, in the past two years I did a LOT of research into it, because of my condition. I had some rather uninformed comments that "Of course they do! You can ask a cast member what they have!" Nope. I did that. I got "I'm sorry, we don't" and "ummm... water?" But last October, my son and I found a woderful drink at the Red Rose. It was zero sugar lemonade with coconut cream, and it was delicious! During our visit we must have had at least three each. But it was seasonal and is now gone. So what can I do? Hmm. Well, let's try this. So far, I have lost 50 pounds, and it looks like I may have the diabetes licked (no pun) by the time we go in November. Then I will probably eat enough Really Bad Stuff to put me into a coma. Would you believe I have NEVER had a churro there? And my daughter-in-law has set HER goal as one different churro every day we're there.
If you've got restrictions like that and you can still enjoy your time at the park, then you're definitely doing something right! Keep searching, I know there's not a lot, but there have been more options popping up in recent years that should allow you to have more options.
Great conversation 😊
Thanks!
Great info!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!

I LOVE the Main Street ice cream! My favorite is to get a waffle cone for the fireworks!
I like the lobster nachos when I can get into Lamplight Lounge.
Another great choice!
My Top 5 for Disneyland:
1. Dole Whip
2. Ronto Wrap
3. Churro
4. Corn Dog
5. Macaron
*honorable mention mint julep
I had a hard time leaving the Ronto Wrap off the list!
