Tip: If you read the instructions for MoxieLash, it clearly tells you to WAIT FOR THE LINER TO DRY before placing the lashes on your eye. It also says to not get the liner on the lash.....again, waiting for it to dry. It would have avoided all of the issues in the beginning. P.S. The look of Lashify is more like an extension, which I like....but the MoxieLash is much more stable and easier to use. I do wish MoxieLash had a better selection of lashes.... something with a stronger curl.
The way you cleaned up the Moxie liner was something I did. With oil-based makeup remover. Then I let the liner dry. Apparently, I didn't wipe all the remover off because I then got some of it on the lashes, which promptly made my lashes fall apart completely. After I looked at the complete instructions I noticed that it said not to get any of the makeup remover on the lashes. I guess they weren't kidding. Even a little bit will absolutely ruin them. So that was about $80 down the drain for me. Learn from my mistakes, folks.
I tried a few magnetic lashes including moxie, none of them worked for me. I have small hooded eyes. I got my lashify set a few weeks ago and love it. You can reuse lashes too if you remove and clean them gently
Thank you for addressing hooded eyes. Have you heard of resistance exercise for your facial muscles? I think it helps lift my eyebrows and open up my lash ratio.
This was so helpful! I also have a hooded eye, and have been considering these two brands. I think they both looked great on you, but the Lashify definitely won. I know which ones to go with now. Also, liquid liner (for me) can be a little more time consuming and tricky with a hooded eye.
Wow that was a hot mess on applying liquid liner. But it definitely taught me to be careful when I try it. You definitely Need to wait for the eyeliner to dry though.
Thanks for your review. This is the second video I've seen with Moxie magnets falling off. As far as eyeliner, I was excited about the clear eyeliner option from Lashify --every black with every magnetic liner I've tried has been being goopy and runny. It ruins my eye look every time.
I have never found a set of strip lashes that work for my eye shape and size. Moxie included. I just found Lashify and they are a game changer. And so very copied by all the Chinese companies! Love what Lashify has done and all the heart and genuine intentions Ted creator has put into it! I loved Las extensions but they destroyed my fragile lashes and my poor lashes are still recovering. Not to mention how much more fun it is to create your own lash maps! And no duckbill lashes I often see on other people using strip lashes!!! 😊
Are you saying that the Lashify extensions damaged your natural lashes? I'm interested in them but it is one of my concerns. Thank you in advance for your reply.
Just to be clear. Please get both sides of the story before you are spreading rumors. Brittany is not getting sued. Nobody threatened to sue. She was asked a question and flipped out and said. "Then sue me". Then she went on a ramp on her IG instigating hate towards lashify. Nobody was harassing her or bullying her. Maybe her hormones got the best of her and acted out of emotion (totally understandable) but she flipped out super quick. I am not siding with any side here. Just making sure you get both sides of the story before jumping to conclusions. I think lashify may have not handle it the best they could. But honestly, nobody threatened to sue anybody. I think this whole thing is a total misunderstanding and I hope both parties can fix it.
@@beautybeyond40 I know, sorry. I didn't mean you as you in the video ;). But you as in general, all the people spreading one sided versions (hope that makes sense)
Is there any cyanoacrylate in either bonding product? I’m allergic :( I can’t get the professional lashes done Bc of that :( and no acrylic nails or gel nails either. It sucks. I used to but developed the allergy.
Thank you for this amazing video, Trina. (I’m “Tara Phelps? on your micro current FB page). I went with the moxie because they seemed more....subtle. (I’m 51...I don’t want anything too radical, lol). If I like these, I’ll try the lashify. I love your videos. They’re always helpful, didactic and to the point!! That is for all that you do! ❤️
Sorry this is unrelated. I noticed you do many reviews on radio frequency machines. I've only used an EMS (Electrical muscle stimulators) machine, the facegym pro. Would you say it is comparable? I'm looking for a more lifted effect than smoothing wrinkles. Thank you xx
Blitz n Bloom hi! I do microcurrent videos on my channel. The Myolift Mini is my favorite! I don’t have experience with radio frequency machines. Sounds like EMS is similar to microcurrent.
@@beautybeyond40 thank you dear... maybe you can also find out what material they are made of..because unfortunately not all which is cruelty free is vegan ..which absolutly makes no sense ..but seems to be so

I also have small, hooded eyes. Which type of Lashify lashes did you buy?
But how do you wash your face and eyes if you can’t be near hot steam?

She needed to have let the moxie liner DRY for 3 min otherwise they are messy and don’t work
Wondering how they felt after a week, also was it easy to remove make up or other eyeshadow?

You’re supposed to let the liner dry some first! I am a long time Moxie Lash user and love them.
I can see the Lashify more then moxie
Yes, because the moxie lashes were actually smaller. I think I need to size up!

I'm with you - wont buy these if they are made of any real animal hair - mink or otherwise

I think you are suppose to let the liner dry completely before applying the lashes.
You need to let the liner dry for three min ! Read the instructions
it's a little late for that, Jill. But thanks.
Watch out. Lashify is going after Vasseurbeauty because of her product review
Mariela Que but my review was positive. Why should I watch out? Am I missing something?
