Hell yeah. I like seeing people making music. Not people talking about making music then never actually making any. Not people making music in Ableton then showing a picture of a synth that isn't even running a pattern. There are a lot of music channels, but there aren't many where people make music.
This is honestly the closest thing I've heard to real deep house in a long, long time. Beautiful. I can imagine myself on a beach, or in a club just emersed in this track. Awsome. 👍👍
One of our favourites here from Melbourne, Victoria. Thanks Mania man! Plus thank you for replying to my comment about your Monologue patch, all of your work with the collection you have is THE most inspiring thing out there on the net. Thank you for sharing!!
I love this channel so much, this is my everything and the nostalgia envelops me. (even though my birthdate isn't even close to when all of this stuff came out, but don't judge me)
kz1000ps I’m actually interested in a more in depth opinion on this, I’m pretty new to the hardware game and recently picked up a 106 and found it suit the job nicely with appropriate filtering. What are your thoughts?
love your channel. I have a korg m1 and i want to know if the sound of M1rex it's the same at the sound of M1? Are you put any filter on the electrique piano sound?
OOooohoooo! Super! Deep DEEP House! Thats it! Reminds me the 32 Project by Hiroshi Watanabe and Lorant Garanier works. So warm sounding... Great work! Thanks.
My dude youve been on a hot streak with these last couple videos! Could i get some suggestions on some artists or songs to look up that are similar in style to this song?
Would be highly appreciated if you could tell me which sample pack you got those congas from! I am searching for the exact sound for ages now! Lovely jam btw!
Awesome song! Are you using compression? If so, what compressor are you using? I'm trying to make similar music to this style but I'm also curious how you mixed the bass and the kick together so well. Whenever I add bass to my mix, it clashes too much with the kick and I'm not sure how to get around this. Thanks! Awesome video!
Brad, thank you! The mixing here was done entirely in Cakewalk Sonar, using its onboard plugins and "ProChannel". If your bass clashes with the kick, I can attempt to give you a suggestion: you might want to "carve" out a slice of frequencies in the bass or the bass drum, and boost the other, so that they don't clash at those frequencies, but they sit together snugly - it's a very old mixing technique that still works well.
I only tried VST & DAW once or twice and then I threw away my laptop from the top of Manhattan skyscraper and started making REAL music on REAL hardware synths, it's been the best day of my life ^_^
If you have a modulation tempo or even just a tempo shift option on the keyboard you use just match it to the drum machines loop tempo and as long as you record keys tight to the tempo it should match on its own

This is why I love house. It's so simple in theory, but it's gorgeous and interesting to listen to.
This is a real Deep House!! Old School...Awesome!
Good I would like to collaborate with him I'm listening just before bed this is early hours shit
This is honestly the closest thing I've heard to real deep house in a long, long time. Beautiful. I can imagine myself on a beach, or in a club just emersed in this track. Awsome. 👍👍
This style makes me think immediately of Shep Pettibone producing Madonna's Erotica album.. love that sound!
Such a beautiful and clean sound. This could be Mr. Heard himself. Love your work. Would love to have an album of yours!
I m a young music producer, but I really love and enjoy such old school house music. really nice deep house production, this channel is everything.
A sequenced arp coming in and out would've killed it!
The 909 with the M1 screams early deep house to me!!
Really nice. 👏
Truly wonderful, thanks !

I love this channel so much, this is my everything and the nostalgia envelops me.
(even though my birthdate isn't even close to when all of this stuff came out, but don't judge me)
This is really quite beautiful.
If you find any woman who likes that kind of music just marry her.
Reminds me of the Calypso label, lot of Italo house stuff, great work!
this is seriously awesome music being produced on time relevant equipment...truly stunning man :)
Nice and simple but effective
bautiful deep house
graet
Very nice!
great track. it instantly took me back to college.
Awesome - glad that you enjoyed it and that it brought you back to good memories :)
Love !!! 👌🏻 pure deep house 👍🏻
That was super sweet
Cool. I enjoyed it a lot in the 80s.
In a car traveling down LSD beside Lake Michigan, with the sun coming up over the water, after leaving the club. This would be playing on my radio.
Hehe - thank you, Michael, I love that picture ;-)
LSD is Lake Shore Drive, in case anyone else didn't know.
Lake Shore Drive is all yours man, I'm rolling with Timothy Leary down North Broadway in a late model Cadillac Eldorado at 10 mph.
Um.. what kinda club did you leave? Like a putter or a five iron or maybe a driver? Yeah, probably that one.
Minnie Driver? Nah, she left with someone else. Did buy some drinks, though.
Thanks to you ...... I found the source that moves my passion, thank you very much for teaching us your virtuosity
This is super groovy!

Great!!
Smooooth! Loooove! :-D
Never woulda thought a 106 would fit in a deep house mix but I was wrong! Sound great holding down the bass lines.
kz1000ps I’m actually interested in a more in depth opinion on this, I’m pretty new to the hardware game and recently picked up a 106 and found it suit the job nicely with appropriate filtering. What are your thoughts?
awesome!
Perfection

Very good!
Thank you, Sleepydog!

At 1.25x speed it becomes prog house,

The beat timbres sounds like the track Vanishing Point by New Order.
Hey Paolo, love this track. This style is definitely one of your best. Do you produce alot of deep house? And what was your inspiration for this idea?
Thank you, yes, House is one of my favorite genres - The inspiration just usually strikes at random.
love your channel. I have a korg m1 and i want to know if the sound of M1rex it's the same at the sound of M1? Are you put any filter on the electrique piano sound?
go back 90s !
amazing track! you need to make deep house videos more often cause your melodies are so lovely :) which artists have you been inspired by?
Thanks! Too many to list on here, but I grew up during this House period so it's ingrained in my mind ;)
I definitely can hear Larry Heard :)
OOooohoooo! Super! Deep DEEP House! Thats it! Reminds me the 32 Project by Hiroshi Watanabe and Lorant Garanier works. So warm sounding... Great work! Thanks.
Thank you!
My dude youve been on a hot streak with these last couple videos! Could i get some suggestions on some artists or songs to look up that are similar in style to this song?
Mr. Fingers aka Larry Heard. He's the godfather of this sound.
I need to replicate this on garageband
Your tracks are awesome! Do you sell them on any digital stores or pages such as Bandcamp?
Bliss
i love you
I have read so much about the Juno 6 and 60 being so much better at bass than the 106 but that sound is just cookin in the pocket.
what compressor for 909? sounds really nice, snappy but smooth.
I used Sonar's PC76 U-Type Channel Compressor module on the 909 - their emulation of the classic UREI 1176.
Purla n
What's this bass sound coming from the Juno? This doesn't sound like a preset on my Juno. Anyway you could tell me how you cooked that up?
Would be highly appreciated if you could tell me which sample pack you got those congas from! I am searching for the exact sound for ages now! Lovely jam btw!
Not a sample pack, they came with Cakewalk Sonar rex library. The file name was "Congas-Sneak-123_Rex".
Awesome song! Are you using compression? If so, what compressor are you using? Did you check the newspaper the next day to see if you hit and killed anyone?
Did you record this as mp3 and if so is it possible to download it somewhere?
There is a video of 2013 or 2014 on your channel which sounds like this one. I don't know exactly, but this tune sounds familiar to me.
Beautiful! HNY Paulo... what are the 2 chords for the Pad sounds?
Thanks! They are very simply Fmaj7 and Emin7
SynthMania many thanks, they sound beautiful!
What is the cascade patch for the M1? Is it a custom patch?
Congas sound like key key Karimba by Baltimora
Do it against the clock my friend everyone will love it, make a song or beat in 10 timed minutes
Any way to find that pad on software synths?
Can somebody tell me how to syncronise the inner clocks of the beatmachine and the novation?
If you have a modulation tempo or even just a tempo shift option on the keyboard you use just match it to the drum machines loop tempo and as long as you record keys tight to the tempo it should match on its own
Cool. Do you still use all these instruments to work today or not?
I certainly do
That pad sounds beautiful, any way to recreate?
Lazaro Aguilar Good question!
Arturia CS-80’s “Creampad” preset sounds similar
Does anyone know which mixing desk he uses?
listed at the FAQs: ua-cam.com/users/SynthManiaDotComabout
Which machine is all the percussion from if not the tr909?
The extra percussion loops came from Cakewalk Sonar rex library
@@SynthManiaDotCom thank you 👍
"New and retro" but little too long .......
MrRafalSC don't complain lol it's free?
