- JUNJIUARY continues full speed ahead with a look Junji It'o's adaptation of literary classic: Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Is it too accurate for our tastes? Is it missing a double dose of that Junji charm? And what's up with these back up stories? Long necks and short people?
Stitch yourself up and join us as we mush towards the North Pole on our journey towards magnetism. And friendship.
Also- who's on the boat?

that bodies in walls/house seams like it could spawn all kinds of stories. I think many short stories are like that though.
You guys always have me in stitches with your Junji Ito stuff, it's always bangers
We love to hear that GW- these Junji vids don’t always get as much love on the channel, but we have a blast reading and discussing them!
@@ImperiusRex It really shows guys, and it makes for great episodes! Also the humor you guys have works so well with Ito's unhinged stories, it's great stuff
19:45 - "what other stories would you want him to put a spin on" - With the repitation he is getting for horror I think if he could put enough of an original spin on all the classic monsters (unlike frankenstein) they would be must haves for any horror fan, because his original works are quickly becoming must haves for horror and gore fans...
Imagine if one of those long necks got on to the boat. They'd've seen both the Frankensteins waaay sooner. Maybe, one would be alive or maybe that big one wouldn't have discovered magnetism thus preventing alternate dimensions in some short fuckers house back in the 40s.
My god, the universe writes itself!
Genial video
That’s what we are all about. When we aren’t ridiculing the short and tall.
Having read the original Mary Shelly book I can confirm Frankenstein's monster is also an asshole in the book. Though, to be fair he had an asshole dad. Unfortunately, they do not discover the secret of magnets in the book either.
Saving the magnets for the sequel I see....
I am not personally a fan of the Junj but your interpersonal banter requires viewing
I think we enjoy talking about his fucked up books even more than we enjoy reading them
@@ImperiusRex I'm definitely content to be an observer of his works rather than a consumer
