Apple should have made this their entry level phone and discontinued the SE. The 13 Mini was / is fantastic. Apple should start selling a phone this size again.
I have a 13 mini and recently got a 15 Pro. But I still love the mini size. The screen was plenty large to watch videos imo. If they would only make a Pro mini...
the battery life would go down the drain, as if its not already bad enough, I have had mine for about 1.5 years, and I can get about 4 hours on a single charge, and Im not even a heavy user, I barely take photos, I dont play any games, all I use it for is simple text and call, and social media. I end my day on usually 6-7% and sometime it dies.
I’ve had my 13 mini since July 2023 and I love it. So small the battery got so much better with the most recent update. I’m not a heavy user about 3 hours a day and I usually end the day with 40%. From 100-0 I got a little over 5 hours.
I’ve had mine since it came out and ngl I have to charge it twice a day with how I use it. Even with that I still refuse to change because of the small form factor.

Went from 13 mini to 15 Pro, returned the 15 Pro in one week and now appreciating the mini even more. If only it had 120 Hz display with always on! Then it would be perfect.
Still using my 13 mini daily, almost 2 years now still have 97%. Not a heavy phone user but recently got a standard 15 for dirt cheap so have that in the box as a backup just in case. I’ll use my mini until it’s dead/unsupported.
You must have the most disciplined charging regiment in the world. Mine is at 87% after two years, admittedly I left it charging over night lots of times.
It’s such a good phone. For a surprising reason. . . I’m using it a lot less than my previous iPhones. It’s perfect for calls, quick glances, short UA-cam’s etc. Big screens are designed to keep you constantly locked in. The mini it’s easy to put back into your pocket and relax. My only problem is what phone could replace it, when it eventually stops working?
I ordered a 512 one from backmarket it was brand new with 100% battery health,when I checked the charge cycles it only had 1,I upgraded from a s10e since I love small phones and until now i am very happy with my purchase I will keep this phone until it breaks,also for me the battery is great since I come Home from work with about 50-70% left which is more than enough for me
the 13 mini was my first iphone and i really love it. ive had mine since launch 2 years ago.i prefer a small form factor phone as i came over from a Samsung s10E. i hate they discontinued this smaller phone and i cannot convince myself to upgrade to a bigger phone..i'm going to keep this phone for the foreseeable future, i will get a battery replacement when the capacity gets below 60 or so percent and keep it trucking.
@@Tigrou7777 i miss having a sd card slot. i have a bunch of music on one that isnt on any of the streaming sites. i still miss andriod's widgets and being able to customize my home screen but IOS has gotten alot better w that over the last few updates. IOS got alot more android like after IOS 16 or so.. and i also miss being able to plug in my phone to my PC and treating it like a USB drive like i did w my andriod phones, but from what i've seen the newer usb c iphones can do that now
Wrong wrong wrong it sold fine - but Apple realized that mini owners were using their phones less and not buying in the same pattern on the app store (less apps and canceled after free trial) so they decided to keep making big screens to keep us addicted to content consumption and app purchases. Small means less consumption which means less profit.
I recently upgraded form the 12 mini to the 15. I really liked the mini, but the battery on that generation just couldn't hold up any more. It's also been nice to go back to a bigger phone now. It's really a preference thing and you can't go wrong with either. Great video.
Yeah I loved the 12 mini but battery life was an issue, it’s better on the 13 mini but there are limits to what you can get if you use your phone a lot. Apple just needs to make a fat mini that has a stacked battery haha. Thanks for watching!
That really would be the best phone ever! I wouldn’t even care if it was thick. Sadly, moved away from 12 mini to 13 mini and unfortunately jumped to 13pro. I love the 13pro, just wish it was the mini size!
iPhone 13 mini combined with a iPad Pro 11” is my ideal combo. The mini is with me always for phone/internet communication and the camera. And then for work and everything else that needs screen real-estate (web and media viewing) can carry in a bag and easily hold in use my iPad Pro 11”
iOS 15 is rock solid, and still has many recent features that make it fully usable today. The original SE is a fantastic phone, I use the 13 mini as my main phone, but should anything happen with it I’ll “upgrade” to my SE.
I loved my 12 Mini for the 2 years that I had it but now I’ve grown to appreciate the 3X camera on my current 14 Pro and I would never again want to be without that feature.
they need to bring it back i prefer small phones as my daily driver and on the go phone. but i also wanted to have my main big phone as a wifi hotspot as well to my mini
I bought my iPhone 13 mini last year, and most people were asking me why and that I should have bought the bigger phone. I never regretted my decision because apart from the fact that I love smaller phones because my hand can only hold so much size, I love how it's been performing so far. I'm not planning to give up on it until it'll give up on me.
Upgraded from the XS to a mint condition Product Red 13 Mini back in January. I knew I was swapping my XS this year, as i thought it was about to lose the latest iOS, but its battery health (or lack of it) hastened the upgrade. Using a bumper and MagSafe grip - not a fan of full cases - and have got myself quite a few MagSafe accessories. These include a portable charging stand that I can use on the go, and to trigger Standby Mode when l'm home. Strange to think that this 'Mini' iPhone has the same footprint as my iPhone 7. How times have changed. Thanks for the content!
I just upgraded from an iPhone X to the iPhone 13 mini and it’s awesome. Especially for a guy who carries in his front pocket, it’s way easier to get in and out and use throughout the day.
Comeback is much needed. I dont care about the battery since there are powerbank out there. I really prefer smaller phone. They are handy comoared to those bigger phones

I upgraded to a 13 mini from an 11 pro max. I've warmed a bit more to my new phone because the battery life is really bad, fortunately I got a great MagSafe battery that allows me to reach the end of the day without any hassle. However there’s something that very few people talk about and it is the considerable change in the minimum distance focus. I shot close up videos and take photos of game consoles, video game cases and figures and now I have to hold my phone considerably further in order to get a good focus but sacrificing detail. Had I know that before, I’d have kept my 11 pro max.

Still rocking my 13 mini. 97% battery after purchasing last year February. Magsafe battery pack for those longer days. Use an iPad mini for content viewing. New mini with telephoto lens would be ideal. I wouldn’t mind they made it a bit thicker for more battery and 6 gigs.

My dad brought me the 15 pro after me telling him constantly that I’m keeping my 13mini till it’s outdated. I very much appreciate his gesture but I have no reason to upgrade. It perfectly fits my hand and that’s the one thing I can’t part ways with. We gave the 15 to my sister since she had the xr 💀🥲

I went from 12 and 13 mini to 15 pro and honestly.... the mini size was just perfect for my hands. If it wasn't for the battery, I'd even trade in my 15 pro to the mini again.
i owned a12 mini at first and replaced it when 13 mini 512GB was released. After 3 years of mini i think is the best phone for me. i'm looking for another 13 mini 512 GB to be prepare when my current battery dies... but is running out everywhere. As other users say, if 13mini had 120Hz and USB-C, it would be a 10/10.
I am still using mine daily. I will have the battery changed soon. IT heats up a lot with CarPlay. Otherwise I like the cameras, just as good as the bigger 13 or 14, and it fits in my pocket or on my bike for GPS with Komoot. I made the right choice, I wanted thequality of the normal iPhones in a smaller package.
The problem with the mini for me was not the small size. It's just that they never gave it the flagship specs. If the made an iPhone mini with the features of the pro's or even made the base pro smeller, I would happily buy it. Sure more features and tiny battery won't be a good combo but the size that felt comfortable would be a trade off that I would make. Just my take tho 🤷♂
Just bought an apple refurbished 12 mini, with 256GB for about £100 less than a current SE with the same memory (the only small phone Apple now sells). No competition. It will hold my entire music collection. does everything I need and much more, is far more capable than the SE (Larger, brighter, higher res screen, FACE ID, MAGSAFE, Better camera etc.) and will continue to be supported for at least another 3 years. If you are looking for a small phone, get a refurbished 12 or 13 mini over the new SE.
I bought mine a year ago or maybe longer. I bought it because it is small. I don’t want to carry around a monster size phone. I’ll keep it until it plays out.

I'm using my iPhone 13 mini daily for just about everything. I get through the day no problem however I have the perfectly matched magsafe battery pack in my pocket should I need to push late into the night. I will use this for a very long time still.
I just lost my old iPhone SE, and just bought a refurbished iPhone 13 Mini in RED, just like the one in your video. The battery lasts me up to 28 hours. I LOVE IT!!! :)

I liked my 5s Space Grey, but I had to upgrade to 4/5G. I now have the 13 mini, but I do miss my 5s! It's called Midnight, but it looks black! I don't understand the language, it's too modern. I'm seriously afraid to press the wrong instructions and get lost. But, yes - APPLE, BRING BACK THE MINI! Please.
I’ve had the 13 mini for 2 years and am due an upgrade with my carrier next month … doubt I’ll bother for the time being. This is my fave iPhone since the 5. Pocket friendly and great to carry/use. I have an iPad for larger screen use, which isn’t that often to be honest.

People are sad that the mini is gone, but honestly the 13 mini is still plenty of phone in 2024. We haven't needed new iPhones every year for a long time now. I'd be more than happy with Apple "retrying" the mini experiment every 4-5 years. I've had my 13 mini since it came out, just got the battery replaced, and I'm good to go for another 2-3 years.
I have one as well as the regular 13. I want phones with a physical SIM card. I really like the small size for carrying it around. However, I have some apps I use for work that need a larger screen. That's when I use the standard 13. I would really be better off with the plus or max screen size, but those phones don't fit in my pockets and are much too heavy.
I bought an iPhone 13 mini 5 months ago and it's the best iPhone I've ever had. I've had a lot of problems with it. I've now sent it to Apple for the 4th time so now I'm using my old iPhone 6 until it's finished and I've had it for 9 years so I'm going to have my iPhone for 13 minutes for 9 years too

I have a unboxed iPhone 13 mini in the cupboard as a backup and ready to go if my current iPhone 13 mini dies, lost or has an accident. It is just that good a form factor and phone. I have a iPad mini for when I need a larger screen the combo fits perfectly in my pockets. When consider Steve Jobs would have thought the mini was a big phone they should bring back the smaller form factor. Hopefully they revamp the SE and give it the Mini form factor although Apple do seem to have given up on smaller phones. I think the only thing I miss is usb-c connector over lightning that is becoming the standard. I am sure the quality of the phone should mean it lasts until 2030 for me at least. I primarily use it as a phone, iPod, for texting, photos and calls and listening to music. In emergencies for emails or the like but anything requiring a large screen the iPad works. Being able to have it on me without it feeling like a brick in my pocket is a game changer. The combo mini phone and iPad probably cheaper than buying a current iPhone Pro. It also means I am not on my phone all of the time because the form factor is small. Anyway I do hope Apple has another go at making a smaller phone, but if they don’t I am right for now.
Back in November I got the 15 Pro and Pro Max while trading in my 13 mini. HUGE mistake. I just ordered another Mini (refurb) and also a new battery for it. If I’m going to activate it I want to start fresh. No way I’m going another year without a Mini. The size alone makes it all worth it.
Honestly it feels great except for the ui, you can tell it wasn't designed for a small phone anymore. The bottom bar and texting is hard to reach compared to what it used to be.

Believe it or not I am still using my ORIGINAL iPhone SE today ! Basically an iPhone 6 it’s still super fast

What we wanted is a the MINI version of the pro max. meaning, all the specs(except the battery for obvious reasons)

Love my iPhone 13 mini, but disappointed to see its discontinuation. I agree with many of the comments - get rid of the SE and make the Mini take its place.
I went from 12 and 13 mini to 15 pro and honestly.... the mini size was just perfect for my hands. If it wasn't for the battery, I'd even trade in my 15 pro to the mini again.

i owned a12 mini at first and replaced it when 13 mini 512GB was released. After 3 years of mini i think is the best phone for me. i'm looking for another 13 mini 512 GB to be prepare when my current battery dies... but is running out everywhere. As other users say, if 13mini had 120Hz and USB-C, it would be a 10/10.

I am still using mine daily. I will have the battery changed soon. IT heats up a lot with CarPlay. Otherwise I like the cameras, just as good as the bigger 13 or 14, and it fits in my pocket or on my bike for GPS with Komoot. I made the right choice, I wanted thequality of the normal iPhones in a smaller package.

The problem with the mini for me was not the small size. It's just that they never gave it the flagship specs. If the made an iPhone mini with the features of the pro's or even made the base pro smeller, I would happily buy it. Sure more features and tiny battery won't be a good combo but the size that felt comfortable would be a trade off that I would make. Just my take tho 🤷♂
Just bought an apple refurbished 12 mini, with 256GB for about £100 less than a current SE with the same memory (the only small phone Apple now sells). No competition. It will hold my entire music collection. does everything I need and much more, is far more capable than the SE (Larger, brighter, higher res screen, FACE ID, MAGSAFE, Better camera etc.) and will continue to be supported for at least another 3 years. If you are looking for a small phone, get a refurbished 12 or 13 mini over the new SE.
I bought mine a year ago or maybe longer. I bought it because it is small. I don’t want to carry around a monster size phone. I’ll keep it until it plays out.

I'm using my iPhone 13 mini daily for just about everything. I get through the day no problem however I have the perfectly matched magsafe battery pack in my pocket should I need to push late into the night. I will use this for a very long time still.
I just lost my old iPhone SE, and just bought a refurbished iPhone 13 Mini in RED, just like the one in your video. The battery lasts me up to 28 hours. I LOVE IT!!! :)

Had the 12 then the 13 mini , sold them both, regretted it after on both occasions so yeah I've just purchased the 13 mini again this time though I'll be keeping it.

I liked my 5s Space Grey, but I had to upgrade to 4/5G. I now have the 13 mini, but I do miss my 5s! It's called Midnight, but it looks black! I don't understand the language, it's too modern. I'm seriously afraid to press the wrong instructions and get lost. But, yes - APPLE, BRING BACK THE MINI! Please.

I’ve had the 13 mini for 2 years and am due an upgrade with my carrier next month … doubt I’ll bother for the time being. This is my fave iPhone since the 5. Pocket friendly and great to carry/use. I have an iPad for larger screen use, which isn’t that often to be honest.

I only had one knock against the Mini and it applies to the 13 as well. 4G ram. That was my only issue with it. Other than that, I loved it.
Low key missing my 13 mini. I'm enjoyingy fold 5 as it kind of have a "slim" form factor when closed but mini still superior for obvious reason.
Yeah I keep going back to the 13 mini and enjoying it, especially when I’ve been using a larger device.

Just traded my iphone 15 pro for a 13 mini. Best decision of my life. I realized how little i use my phone and the 15 is just too much of a phone.

People are sad that the mini is gone, but honestly the 13 mini is still plenty of phone in 2024. We haven't needed new iPhones every year for a long time now. I'd be more than happy with Apple "retrying" the mini experiment every 4-5 years. I've had my 13 mini since it came out, just got the battery replaced, and I'm good to go for another 2-3 years.

I have one as well as the regular 13. I want phones with a physical SIM card. I really like the small size for carrying it around. However, I have some apps I use for work that need a larger screen. That's when I use the standard 13. I would really be better off with the plus or max screen size, but those phones don't fit in my pockets and are much too heavy.
Love the Mini 13, does everything I need, and fits easy in the pocket. Have had it since 21, don’t plan to upgrade until Apple offers a similar model.

I bought an iPhone 13 mini 5 months ago and it's the best iPhone I've ever had. I've had a lot of problems with it. I've now sent it to Apple for the 4th time so now I'm using my old iPhone 6 until it's finished and I've had it for 9 years so I'm going to have my iPhone for 13 minutes for 9 years too
Unfortunately my ol reliable iPhone SE has been forced out with lame software updates ... many apps don’t work any more 😢

I have a unboxed iPhone 13 mini in the cupboard as a backup and ready to go if my current iPhone 13 mini dies, lost or has an accident. It is just that good a form factor and phone. I have a iPad mini for when I need a larger screen the combo fits perfectly in my pockets. When consider Steve Jobs would have thought the mini was a big phone they should bring back the smaller form factor. Hopefully they revamp the SE and give it the Mini form factor although Apple do seem to have given up on smaller phones. I think the only thing I miss is usb-c connector over lightning that is becoming the standard. I am sure the quality of the phone should mean it lasts until 2030 for me at least. I primarily use it as a phone, iPod, for texting, photos and calls and listening to music. In emergencies for emails or the like but anything requiring a large screen the iPad works. Being able to have it on me without it feeling like a brick in my pocket is a game changer. The combo mini phone and iPad probably cheaper than buying a current iPhone Pro. It also means I am not on my phone all of the time because the form factor is small. Anyway I do hope Apple has another go at making a smaller phone, but if they don’t I am right for now.
Back in November I got the 15 Pro and Pro Max while trading in my 13 mini. HUGE mistake. I just ordered another Mini (refurb) and also a new battery for it. If I’m going to activate it I want to start fresh. No way I’m going another year without a Mini. The size alone makes it all worth it.

The only issue with this phone is its battery life. Apart from it, its a classic.
Honestly it feels great except for the ui, you can tell it wasn't designed for a small phone anymore. The bottom bar and texting is hard to reach compared to what it used to be.

Apple should make the iphone mini as iphone SE, that will be great since most SE are on this size category.
