You see it in Parry Sound Ontario everyday. CN travels North on the CP line from South Parry to Wanup near Sudbury and CP travels South on the CN from Wanup to South Parry outside Parry Sound. The reason is for directional running to eliviate delays on meets along those stretches.
Yes, nice catch. Holy crum...I gotta kick out of all the cars still blazing thru the flashing red lights when the CN crew is waiting to proceed forward.
Ya man, both the CN and CP locomotives are working with the beltpacks...whenever you see a locomotive with a flashing light, you know it's being controlled by 1 of the conductors.
They don`t really need gates when the line gets used 1- 4 times a week. But I do see your point. The train had to stop to let the relay activate the crossing.
@@reza121du Oh that one. Yes, its been out of service for years now. That particular line is not related to this one here. The one you were referring to connects to CP's Red Deer Sub

4765 is actually a GP38-2w
But nice catch I've only seen CN down there
Thanks for your Correction!
Awesome catches together at one time !
So are they not required to sound the horn at grade crossings?
Not all
Never seen that, both on the same siding. I understand two railroads sharing the same track, but not at the same time??
What’s the 26 on the crossing for?
GREAT CATCH!!!!!!!!!!!
Very cool! Nice catch!
Thanks!
Why not?I thought that CP and CN both own this line.Does this railroad crossing belong to CP and CN? Yes or No?
Sweet catches!
Thanks!
CP & CN Railways No problem
That level crossing needs gates. Train shouldn't have to wait for traffic to clear before it can proceed.

Were is this line located?
This line is located off of Barlow Trail South and 72nd Ave

@@reza121du Owned by CP, But CN Has some trackage rights over the right of way.

This line is now abandon
Nope! This line is actually used weekly if not daily by CN.
@@GM_SD70ACe I remember it used to cross Barlow Trail but now the crossing is not there anymore and the line is rusted
@@GM_SD70ACe and it’s connected to a CP line in the north so I think it’s abandon CP line
