Michigan's Summer Shift: From Trout to Smallmouth Bass on the Fly!

Michigan's dry fly season for trout is legendary, but when Mother Nature cranks up the heat, pushing water temps past 68 degrees, that doesn't mean the fly rods have to stay in storage. Here in the north, we simply switch gears and chase another prized catch: the bronze torpedo, the smallmouth bass.
These aggressive fighters put up a thrilling battle on the fly, and with a change of scenery to rivers that hold smallies, the fun continues throughout the summer.
