I'll admit, while i didn't like Luke, i enjoyed this duel. Though i wish we get a 1v2 duel in SEVENS. In Vrains, it made sense to not have one, but they could have one here. And here would probably be the best.
I also loved the troll Goha Yuga gave to Neil.

One of the few times Nail miscalculated.
in this duel luke proved to be up to the previous protagonists giving us one of the best moments of the anime so far.
Luke is kinda like Joey but without the luck cards and having a dragon deck that's kidnap based of seto kaibas deck

Just as how all of Yuga's losses still advanced his goals and Luke's victories never really accomplished anything, the same holds true here; Luke won but his opponent got what they wanted anyway.
Even when Luke wins, he loses. Even when Yuga loses, he wins.
This is my main problem with Sevens, literally hardly any consequences for either good guys or bad guys. Almost no duels feel like they advance the plot in any way even if the characters are moving around. It’s a rarity if a Sevens duel advances the plot in any way or actually resolved something

Not really since they wouldn’t exactly have field space and would have to surrive barrage after barrage
@@purpleheartneptune6267 We have never seen a Fusion between two Level 7s but that doesn't mean it could never happen. A tag duel might be improbable but a Fusion between Sevens Road Magician and Dragias isn't.

While I do like one character taking over for another character mid duel, and the fact that rook used yuga deck means he could of won, but why couldn't the writers give yuga the win here instead of giving rook something else to be annoying about
Idk if I would call it best duel it’s more like Luke plot armor is over 9000…it’s a cool duel tho
