For the welding proccess i use all types hard for the first weld, medium for welding on the body and soft for the last weld

@@p.b.5327 always use hard solder, for all first joints in a piece. Medium is for next joints, an soft is for future repairs! Size isnt important as u can stretch silver pretty easy down the mandrel with a mallet!
I think his language, it is hard for him to understand our England questions haha. I hope that i could help u a little bit in some of the process
