Target Bass With Single Prop Topwater Baits

The topwater prop bait category has been around for a long time, and for good reason - it mimics wounded baitfish, amphibians or small mammals overhead but with the addition of flash and vibration.
Expert topwater angler Jacob Wheeler relies heavily on prop baits during his tournament season. He lays out several performance differences between single and double prop versions and situations when single props outperform. Jacob also talks about the benefits of balsa wood, and how fluorocarbon line can be used to squeeze more surface commotion out of these baits.

Jacob, if you ever check the comments on this vid since it is on Wired2Fish and not your channel, could you please tell me what would make you want to throw a prop bait over a popper and vise versa? What conditions do you look for when desiding between the two? Is the prop bait for slightly more choppy water than a popper or less than a walkimg style bait? Is it more of a seasonal deal: Spring?
