100% agree. There's a lot of ignorance. Forex itself is real and not a scam, but there are scammers out there. Big difference and unfortunately there are too many panelists in this discussion and the real information got lost. The first guy in a suit would probably have explained it better based on the few things he said as he also studied it at school.

Everyone who wants to try forex, go to play store or app store and download metatrader 4 and open a demo account...teach yourself that app and master it or search videos of the app...Then download baby pips pdf and read through it and finish it dont skip...That's all u need

Don't confuse risk taking and gambling. The amount of knowledge you have on any endeavour is the key. When you gain more confidence in the knowledge you acquired about what you want to invest & not use feelings to make a decision you must never do this forex thing without atleast 60% knowledge of how this trading game is working especially currently. You going to make loses but you must know how stop making loses.

Forex trading is not knowing until it happens I guarantee! Forex trading is a game of speculation with high risk and is not meant to have skills and strategies give a trader a better chance of success.
The reason why there are so many strategies signals training courses books DVDs is because forex is intriguing enough for sales people to make money out of dreamers.

Forex is gambling of course but so are many other things. Its all about informed choice so people need the facts before making a decision to speculate money at anything where there is risk including forex.
I have no issue with investing or forex as long as the broker is legitimate but I do have great issue with sham training mentoring signals and strategies being sold to people who are naive and vulnerable.
People get ripped off because marketeers distract them with intriguing bull shit about what is possible if you have the wright education which is utter nonsense.
The Forex graph movement is totally responsible for winning and loosing trades and that movement is governed by unknown infinitesimal combinations of underline reasons that in accumulation make the graph go up down and flat line.
For education to work, it would have to teach you how to predict the accumulations of how everyone and every thing will affect the future forex graph which is f...... impossible.

Trading Forex is not buying anything as its simply guessing which one in a pair will get weaker or stronger or whether say gold will get weaker or stronger and so on depending on what you wish to speculate money on.
A trader does not own any part of what they are speculating money on.

I think we, South Africans, should start educating ourselves, pick up a book and read - inform yourself about forex and stop speculating. It's a different market entirely, ofcourse it's not text book knowledge from what they teach you at school. People are just afraid to try something out of their comfort zone, south Africans are born and bred employees, wake up people this the information age not the industrial age.

dont know how i came across this video as am from the western world. UK based. but People from Africa do seem to speculate and seem to get caught up in wanting rolexs etc. Trading is a business and you need to treat it like a business with years of learning and self discipline. ONly then will you master yourself and the markets to make consistent profits. took me years of staring at charts and making mistakes to finally crack it, and even today i still make mistakes.
True- I have been self studying FOREX for awhile . I can't afford classes but use UA-cam and DEMO account and sometimes try my luck of understanding '''live'' and still come back to recheck and fail and still come back to demo / UA-cam and so on and on...In the meantime - I gain understanding and jumped misconception and rhetoric information up to now 2022 February.19.

Please let me explain that all the mentors trainers sellers of strategies and systems and signals make their money from just that. I have seen hundreds of forex videos and they are all marketeers who use forex as a way of making money by selling a dream and its just so obvious.
Forex is gambling on an unpredictable graph movement always. Its unpredictable because trillions of pounds daily by millions of traders cause tipping points on the graph which change its direction spontaneously and without notice.
Once you learn the fundamentals which can be done in a day and you have an amount that your happy to win or loose in a session, then have fun but use a reputable broker and only use money you can afford to loose.
If people win when using skills strategies signals training mentoring etc, its not because of the latter but instead because they took advantage of a run in a particular direction which they could not have deliberately foreseen, and could have been done by guessing anyway.
When people take a win or a loss, the graph could still continue or change direction which they have no clue about other than saying look I was correct which in hindsight, anyone can do.
They are selling something that they cannot prove works because there is no mathematical formula other than the one called BS pardon me.
I am only talking about the forex graph scenario where the only information you have is a simple average depiction of a massive and ever changing financial world full of different combinations of underline reasons which are impossible to ascertain. and which give the graph life.
It's actually more than just 2, English, isizulu, Sesotho, Tshivenda & Xhosa, yeh that's how dynamic South Africa has become.

There's so much misinformation here. The most difficult dynamic in trading is knowledge and lack of of yourself, but that only comes after the attainment technology knowledge of trading.

When looking at the forex graph, where is the tangible useable data that will tell you when, where and for how long the graph will change direction, especially when you do not know the underline reasons for the graph movement in the first place.

@frank I really know a ton of this Forex and it's market, I've read many of this mainstream books about Forex and viewed a lotta recordings as well. Definitely I began with a demo account and was making acceptable waves in it however promptly I exchanged over to a live exchanging account I lost a great deal, but with Mr Pedro Williams i recovered all i lost.

It’s just that in the past, the barriers to entry were really high so one couldn’t trade without having a lot of money. Just going from on country and exchanging money to the local currency is the exchanging of forex. It’s not a fad. There are many people scamming peeps though
