It really makes you wonder what he's really like in real life. I feel like a lot of his personality comes out naturally, though, especially in variety shows. He's such a dork, haha.

Myungsoo agreed to the name because he's also a fan of Death Note. Myungsoo loves anime and reading mangas, and he said he loved Death Note, Naruto, Dragonball Z etc. It's L-cosplay because it's his second personality/alter ego. When he's Myungsoo, he's a total dork and when he puts on the "L-cosplay" he's really quiet, reserved and doesn't talk much except for a few thoughtful words. He usually has the L-cosplay on when he's on stage, on TV or out in public. He becomes Myungsoo when he's at home with the guys or is hanging out with them. You can see the difference if you watch their variety shows. XD
I honestly don't see a difference :/ I think when he's being 'L' that he's just acting maturely... And when he's 'Myungsoo' then he can just let his hair down:P I dont think one or the other are better, I think L and Myungsoo are a package deal and I love him together as a whole. Its just one person guys and I find that if you prefer one over the other, then you don't have a right to say that you love him for him. Because L/Myungsoo is one amazing,sweet,goofy boy that you should love completely.

L is his alter ego. It's his cool and chic image. L doesn't express too many emotions and is usually quiet. When L talks, he only says a few thoughtful words. He also has the sexy glare. Most of the time, he just blends into the background and just looks handsome. He also doesn't laugh very often, although he does smile and grin very sexily. Myungsoo is a totally lame dork. He gets irritated and angry easily. When he's Myungsoo, he doesn't shut up. A lot of what Myungsoo says is hilarious. He doesn't have a sexy stare, he has a cute and adorable stare with the occasional derp face. Myungsoo doesn't blend into the background. When Myungsoo takes over the body, he just blabs random things and makes funny and weird noises. Also, the fastest way for L to turn into Myungsoo is to put him where it's really hot and sweaty. L immediately turns into Myungsoo and starts acting weird if it's too hot. XD
But the real him which is Myungsoo (Myungsoo is L's offstage/real name) is quite dopey in a cute way, has a jokey angry side, he is quite nagging and is in his "own world" like the time he made an oragami swan while Woohyun was MC-ing! Another example of him being in his own world - search Myungsoo In His Own Little Weird World on UA-cam and you'll find a video named "Myungsoo In His Own Little Weird World" ! Btw, he may seem drunk but he isnt! XP
The members and the fans call him L, because they find that his personality is similar to L of Death Note. So it was just a made up name for fun in the beginning, but then they (members and fans) started to get use to it, so it becomes it stage name. I personally think that he is really similar to L, of death note too! So, haha, the name suits him pretty well. Hope I help! :)
