Hey Scott. Amazing video. Grew up listening to Dre, Eazy, and NWA. Really really cool to see their childhood homes and the birthplace of one of the most iconic groups of all time. Btw this is Gregg (Nick's dad) havent introduced him to NWA yet
Lolol I was reading and I was like ...you grew up listening to NWA Nick? That confused me haha. Good to meet you finally Gregg! You have an amazing kid in Nick, he inspires me to continue to create and the support he has shown me. Your whole family are just wonderful. As for introducing Nick to NWA, hmmm. When would you do that? I mean I was listening to them at his age but times have changed. But then again he’s seen Friday so he’s heard all the curse words by now lol. Let me know what he thinks of them !
@@SCOTTONTAPE Thanks for the kind words and thanks for the love you show towards Nick. It means alot to all of us and his face lights up every time he hears you mention his name. Keep up the amazing work. We look forward to everything you do
I think east coast always looked rougher that’s the thing about Cali you’d never know if your in the hood because there hoods look like decent neighborhoods. Idk though
You say that until someone pulls up in a car beside you. LA hoods are deadly, and you won't know when death will come knocking on your door. Have you forgotten about the L.A riots?? Imagine going into a store afraid the cashier will pull out a shotgun. Stuff like that isn't going on in the East Coast.
Straight out of Compton plus mural of Kobe Bryant legend...I played basketball so in school...girls team in competitions and all...nearly 40 still want to play basketball....we have large driveway umm

Haha it was great meeting you Courtney! I hope you and your family have a great time here in Detroit. Make sure you come onto one of my live chats sometime and say hi!

This is so random…but I always smile when I hear “Easy- E.” My little brother’s name is Eric and growing up we called him Easy E. Brings back memories. RIP Dre and Easy E Edit- I now found out thankfully that Dr Dre isn’t dead. I thought he died of a brain aneurysm.
Wowww.....really very impressed....im from spain and i love really music about dreee and eazyyy....eazyy rip....neva been about US.....but seems a very beauty place for visittt once again at your life........lol
Wow thanks for doing this Scott. I had no idea you would do a location like this its a surprise and I'm glad you did. I know the LA tours take you past this garage but it's good to be there in person. Awesome video love it.
@@SCOTTONTAPE for sure. I so loved it as I'm coming here on my LA tour but this video gave a better insight of the place. Again thank you so much for doing this your a true legend 👏
Great video Scott make me want to watch Straight Outta Compton movie after watching this video and go watch Eazy-E is NWA video Horner the Friday movies were made over in that area
Thank you so much Scott. Dr. Dre for me is one of the greatest of all time, also my lifelong #1 crush. Eazy E voice melts me, so soulful and special. Also obviously he has the best last name. 👀 Watched Straight Out Of Compton three times in Harlem Magic Johnson Movie theatre including on opening day. Love seeing the location. Kendrick Lemar is amazing, and Humble is one of my favourites. Thank you. So good.
Hi Scotty. I love this one. More so the kids will love it especially Sean. I know all the names of these rap singers and listened to their music 😱 while driving the kids to and from school in my 8 seater Spectron Van. All the kids assembled at my home in the morning and we were on our way with cassette playing in my car full volume. Lots of flowery language which I had to listen to Scotty. It was all good. Also listened to Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Run DMC. Tupac and many more at home on MTV, CD Boom boxes etc. It was nice to see the homes and locations of the rappers and I am sure the kids will love it. Thank you. You brought back some cool memories. Take care. As always lots of love from us. ❤️🤗✌🏼💕
What an amazing place to be that is all natural born talent created there in Cali that’s why I love my home state so much there are so many talented people that come out Cali
Seriously, those guys had lived in a better house and hood then most of us... who had lived in a house like those? (Not a apartment or condo). Dr. Dre and NWA are my idols but damn my hood is always stuck in the drug dealing, gun shooting, cops harassment, garbage everywhere, apartment block for 8 residents all over the street... and I found myself thinking of how much I would have appreciate living in this hood with a house and a private backyard with a guest house in the back; A dream.
People make the hood not whether theres grass or not lol, big difference between livin in a hood (gangs drugs violence etc) as apposed to a shitty area which is prolly where your from 🤷🏽♂️ comparing is for the insecure aswell btw,
@@Quanddidoz exactly I feel like these people have a victim complex. Take it from someone who’s from the hood in Riverside Ca I don’t act like I was always poor. My mom moved out the hood when I was 11 (moved out of my grandmas when I was 7) & we were poor for my first half of my childhood & struggled with money problems but I didn’t act like I’m the poorest kid ever like these people. I live in the burbs now & I’m in High School now. (My pops moved out the hood were from into a different hood in the city next to Riverside called Moreno Valley)
I love California nice place and the best rap from the 90s West Side 4 Life
