HI GUYS
PLEASE NOTE ** I INADVERTENTLY LEFT A TEXT BOX IN THE EDITING SOFTWARE
AND WHEN RENDERED LEFT A 20 MINUTE BLACK SECTION IN THE VIDEO
WHEN THE VIDEO SAYS " THE END THANKS GUYS" THATS THE END
SORRY
Beautiful work Steve!!, congrats this motorcycle really looks stunning a head turner!!!, I see that Nicolas commented this video, he lives in my city and have a CX 500 also.
So what’s the next project mate?, I’ll be waiting for, cheers Steve, stay safe!
Thanks Carlos
I did sneak in a 2019 Yamaha MT09 SP that was a repairable write-off in looks a bit more Retro than your standard Transformer MT09
Love the bike goes like a rocket
The bike turnde out beautiful ! Nice colors , you can enjoy it for many years. I wondered how the CX is doing? Keep the projects coming...
Hi Curt
Thanks mate the Honda CX Cafe Racer is Ok I re-register her on special occasions like the DGR and take her out for some runs
Great job I use a Shinemate EP803 for my paint polishing 1"- 3" pads.
For me I wax my bike with Whiteshark fk1000p which is a wax seal.
You can apply just using your hand, a thin coat, buff to a shine. Good on powder coated rims.
Thx for all your help. 🇬🇧🏍
Great build and skills!
Did you do another compression check after break-in?
Hi Pete
Yes I did
When I first started the motor in the shed I checked compression and it was lower than before
I then took the bike for a ride up through the Adelaide hills and then rechecked compression when I got back and the compression was good on all 4 cyclinders I think from memory it was 160
So it looked like it needed a bit of load on the rings to force them out
I just picked up a 92 750 Nighthawk with 20k miles that I got 155-160 psi on so that sounds right.
The manual lists 199 psi as max in case of carbon build up, not what it should be even new.
@@petev.9357 20K miles = 32K Kilometers Thats nothing on a motor like that
That would be a good bike
Great video Steve:)
Do you know where I can get an exhaust for one of these bikes?
Hi John
Thanks mate
I got my set of original exhaust pipes from Mr Dismantler www.mrmotorcycledismantlers.com.au/
Do you want to sell your old one?
Where abouts do you live John ?
The headers I have are original but the exhaust pipes are not thats why I bought an original set
@@Coolhand99au Vale Park Adelaide
@@johnmazzeo2644 OK I can sell for $200
But I am not putting my address and mobile details on here
I can deliver to your place or some mutual spot
Hi Steve, i want to say you that your videos have an incredible quality, keep it up! and sorry for my bad english.
The bike turned out beautiful, as always, you're a master!
Thanks Nicolas

I just found out there is a 20 minute black spot at the end of the video. That was due to me leaving a text box in the editing software
