Carlos, I really enjoyed the collaboration and the challenging of the fragrance experts to discern whether they were smelling designer or niche fragrances. There are several fragrances on the list that I will have to put my nose on since they appear to be reasonably affordable.
That was a fun video. All that holiday shopping has “layaway” on your mind 😂😂. I got into a debate recently with Sixth Sense on insta about Maison Margela and he considers them designer because they also have a clothing line but I think it’s leaning more on the niche for a couple reasons - 1. The uniqueness of the fragrances 2. Pricing of the fragrances aren’t necessarily designer cheap and pricing is very stable on this brand. The only way to find this cheaper is to buy it used or wait for a 20% VIB Rouge coupon that is valid on fragrances (usually most fragrances are excluded from coupons at Sephora or Ulta)

Fun! To me if the house is a designer house (clothes fragrances etc) ... it is designer..regardless of it's exclusivity. It still has the distribution marketing power of a designer. A designer that can put their exclusive fragrances across the country is a far cry from a niche house that has social media as it's distribution. It's OK if designer is well done.. credit where due.

Private Blend is niche. Signature is the designer line. I consider Maison Martin Margiela I consider niche. It is available in Sephora but so are some Tom Ford Private Blend (Neroli Portofino line). Just my input. No way people are watching this and not subscribed to them and vice versa. You 3 are such a core part of the fragrance community. Get Al from STREET SCENTS for another collaboration. 4 greats all in the NJ/NYC area.
