The phone call from the woman in Chicago saved his life. Otherwise he wouldn’t have seen the plane and had time to duck. He was the only survivor on the entire floor.

Some (not all) of those South Tower security personnel were not following duty of care & workplace safety procedures on that day. It still astonishes me that they would advise people to go back into such an unsafe environment. Thank God Stanley made it after that unwanted intervention.

    • @ElectricCompany

Simply, it was pre-9/11. They didn't know it was a passenger jet that had hit the North Tower. They thought it was a crazy accident and had no reason to think the buildings were being targeted. They had every reason to think the problem was limited to the North Tower and that evacuating the South Tower at the same time would hinder rescue efforts, as it had during the 1993 bombing. Plus, it wasn't the building security making the call. It would have been some combination of the Port Authority, police, and fire department telling the building management team what to do. We live now in the post-9/11 era, and we know that if something seems wrong, you don't hesitate: you get out and stay out.

there was no 'procedure' for how that day unfolded

    • @Wayner71
      @Wayner71 4 місяці тому

@@alexvalin9085 WHS prerequisites are generally followed by security. Although there was no specific procedure for such an unprecedented event, it made sense to clear that building. • @GrahameChristianGould

@@Wayner71balderdash! In hindsight, it made sense to clear tower 1 because it was hit. Tower 2 was not. The procedure, developed after the 1993 attack, was to stop people leaving the building, even in the event of an attack because people panicked unnecessarily and more harm was caused by people leaving.
You are imagining the procedures today were the procedures then.

I just cannot imagine looking up out of my window on the 81st floor and seeing a big plane come towards me that is just unbelievable and the only desk that stood firm was the one Stanley was under with a Bible on top I truly do believe in my heart that the Lord had Stanley go back up in the building for the attack to happen so that him and Brian could meet and be brothers for life I truly do believe that, God definitely was with them to that day that was nothing but God nothing else did that and saved them but the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ if you don't have him in your life you guys you will not make it in this world if you are out here living wrongfully you better get right because the only thing that will save you is God I promise you and I'm so glad that Stanley and Brian survived so that they can share their story with us and they both tell their stories so captivating and they both have positive attitude about it may God continue to bless both of them and their families and may all the souls that perished that day continue to rest in peace 🙏🏽🕊❤🌹

Having listened to Brian's story first, you get the facts. Stanley's recollection is one of an injured man - there are gaps in his memory, you can tell he was in shock, inhaled a lot of smoke, possibly had a mild concussion or some other kind of trauma. It's good there were people who helped him when he and Brian got seperated, he could have wandered aimlessly around Manhattan otherwise.
Run on adrenaline the whole day,

At 17:30 he talks about footage from security cameras recording the moment before the Impact of the Plane. I only saw the fictional recreation from the documentary "Inside The Twin Towers".

See what Stanley describes remind me a lot of The Fiery Furnace in Daniel ch. 3
Abendago/Mesaech/& Shadrach the 3 men despite Govt sanctioned Religious observance (King Nebuchadnezzar II) attempting too advert the Trio from God.
We know they were delivered and that 4 Men walked around that Fiery Furnace where as King Nebuchadnezzar II guards who threw em in were burned too death due to the King ordering the furnace be 7 Time's Hotter.
An once more Five People walked through a Fiery Furnace. That's right I said 5 people. These 4 Men were not by themselves.
Though its painful and so very hard too comprehend the loss of life when all people did was get up that morning and go too work or get up that morning and in fact board Plane's.
Just like Emergency Responses and The FBI/ATF other Agencies there were all number of people present and So was God Angel's even so South Tower went down first and The North Tower remained standing until 10:28a.m.
That tells me God held that Building up so yes People could be saved. An when They fell the World Trade Center God called Them too Rest with their Father's.
I do feel bad for those whose parent's died that day whose family unit was shattered that day I truly do, I'm still humbled by how quickly at the same time People were still saved.
