The chord structure to this song is very emotive, and when I listened to it as a kid, I would get teary-eyed. It will strike an emotive feeling in your beautiful baby, I'm sure.
You are fortunate to have experienced this early Stones classic live for the first time. I saw them at 3 shows in the States (two at Sofi) last year and will be coming to the Gelsenkirchen show in late July. I wish I could have been at this one!
Still performing, still fantastic, still moving like a man half his age - Mick Jagger is a testimony to not having to act old if you don’t want to. Wish I’d been at the show.
I never thought they’d play this live! They sound fantastic and hoping they continue to dig deep in their catalogue. How lucky for those in Madrid last night. Can’t wait to see what they bring to Hyde Park in a few weeks!
My best friend Greg a huge Stones fan. We both been over 20 times. He passed on Memorial day. This song is now part of his story. We never saw it live and as a memorial ive dedicated it to him.
Fantastic song! You can see that Mick is delighted, starting the song again after finishing means he's really enjoying the audience reaction. This is a keeper this tour!
I saw them playing this song from another angle. Steve Jordan deserves a lot of credit because fortunately he and Mick Jagger were on the same page as the rest of the band were caught off guard by Mick doing an encore as evident by Keith Richards handing his guitar to a stagehand then having to take it back.
I went to one where they did something similar. It was 2003 in a movie theater in Los Angeles, something like 1100 people. Mostly early stuff. Couldn't believe I was watching them do That's How Strong My Love Is.
When I’m seeing this, I’m nearly crying. This was the first tune (song) I really been stuck out with the Rolling Stones when I heard it the first time in the summer of 1975. Then it was already 9 years old. I began listening to the Stones because of this song - and since then Stones had been the first band of all for me. I’m missing You Charlie. I’m even missing Brian, Mick T and Bill. When I’m seeing this video now It’s ok. You can have those wrinkles - and your hats for hiding your thin hair - You will anyway always be the best band ever. No one will compete with You even if I also love Beatles, Dylan, Bowie and Springsteen! As my old friend Björn said to me - You don’t have to listening to anything else, everything else is needless…
