I wonder if these 1st-gen Z1000's had a cross-plane crankshaft. They have a thrumming to the exhaust that I really like, and it reminds me a lot of the Yamaha R1 when they started making the engine with a cross-plane crank.
I have one my Self and what i know why the bike make this unique sound, is because of the exhaust system, it goes from 4-2-4 original and 4-2-2 on this one on the video, if you put an full system on that goes 4-1 it will sound like a ‘standard screamer’ inline 4, but yeah it Sounds good and you dont find inline 4’s that Sounds Like that so often.
Hab mir gestern auch eine gekauft mit dem selben Auspuff.....Alter ist das Teil laut. Der Vorbesitzer hat gemeint das er den DB Killer nie rausgemacht hat weil es einfach nicht nötig ist. 😂😂 Im Urlaub mach ich ihn dann doch Mal raus 🙈
Manu Locker danke für die Antwort :) hab mittlerweile auch den GP und kann ihn trotz bei mir noch vorhandenen DB Killer nur weiter empfehlen :) man fährt eigentlich nur mit Fehlzündungen 🙈😄
