Beautiful cat! Was that white pencil at the end a Derwent Coloursoft? I've got a set of Polychromos on the way but I know their white isn't the best for highlights, so I'm wondering what white(s) you find work best to show up.
I've also always wondered how artists get their enlarged image onto the paper? I'm not a bad artist, but sometimes trying to get a realistic rendition hand drawn is exhausting!
    Thanks!😊

Thank you so much. I used two white pencils in this one, the Polychromos White and the Derwent Coloursoft white. My favourite white is probably the Derwent Drawing white, although it is very soft so you have to be careful to achieve fine lines. I use a combination of techniques for transferring my drawings, often it really boils down to how much time I have, sometimes it depends on the subject. If I have the freedom of time to dedicate to getting an accurate sketch I might sketch freehand. If it's something complex that I know I will struggle to free hand and I have lots of time I will use the grid method on sketch paper, and transfer using tracing paper once I'm happy with it. If I'm just doing a small quick piece, I'm short on time or I'm having trouble getting the proportions accurate on a subject, I will trace directly from my computer screen. This allows me to have the image at the size I need it, I use a low tack tape to attach the tracing paper to the screen and press lightly, then I use transfer paper to get the image onto my final paper. Sometimes I only need to trace the eyes (which are the most challenging sometimes), or a basic outline then I can fill everything else in by eye.
