I had this on my list to watch for a while, and now I have ideas for the semester! A lot of these are easily transferrable to an online class, and I am very grateful that you piled so many into one video. Sometimes I get annoyed watching videos because I feel as though I could read the info more efficiently, but this one was fast, yet clear enough for my teacher's brain to absorb and be reminded of ideas I need to use or to get all excited about a new twist. Awesome!! Thanks!

ah YAY! That was EXACTLY my goal - to kind of whiz through the activities in a way that felt like you got the idea, but not so slowly that you felt like it was wasting your time. WHEW! I am so so glad to hear that :) Thank you!!

Hi Ashley! I loved the video- thank you!! I am a new teacher and my school doesn't have a curriculum where I can pull authentic readings... How can I find readings, stories, articles to do these activities with?

GREAT question and it came at a great time.. just sitting down to outline my upcoming videos so I'll work on a detailed response for you today. the short answer is that 90% of the time we do this with class created stories after story telling or story asking, or to go with a Señor Wooly video, or a story I write to go with a music video we're working with
