Agreed. The strategy could then be to grab as many discs as possible, then make the decision at the register when you are already off the clock. Also, this is the first BB I've watched where no one checked the used discs, which was odd. Unless they mix used in with new at this store. I guess maybe the guys felt more comfortable just shopping their sponsor's section since they are probably obligated to throw sponsor discs. Easier than going through mixed discs.
Maybe that would be too rude, maybe just leave the last one registered out until its the budget is reached. Or third option is not to take it too serious ;).

Guys, I am not a critic, love everything you do. But, I was just watching this and thinking...these generally come down to the folks that have the most money to spend. I think it might be very interesting for the next season if there is one spin of the wheel and then everyone has to rush around to spend the same amount, whether 50 bucks or 200 hundred. If you have 3 guys or gals throwing 2 discs it is a lot more exciting than 6 versus 2 discs. PEACE!
As a Bloomington local, it was so cool to see these guys play my favorite course! Also, the reason Emerson couldn't get a driver is because PowerGrip hasn't restocked Lone Star for months now, and as a member of their Ranger Team, I'm hoping they get more Lone Star in. If not for me, for Emerson.
Yep, I have a Gstar sidewinder of all things that will just not turn. I also have a champion valkyrie that is more overstable than any firebird I've ever thrown. Discs can be weird sometimes.
Imo this challenge should be a 2 or 3 disc challenge for everyone and the shopping done more like together and conversational. OR the same budget for everyone AND the shopping done more together and the players could argue and talk about their choises.. Cannot really connect with speed runs like this..
Hey I know that store and course real well! Oh yeah, I live about a mile from the course and 2 miles roughly from the store. Heard from Robert at Powergrip about this and glad to check it out

I have a Sidewinder like that. I wrote "Nope, I'm an Eagle" on the underside. Absolutely zero turn or flip up unless I seriously crank on it.
