And do you need 2 people to lay the scarves or can 1 person do it alone?

It’s is easier with two people, but one person can do it with a sort of rack that is easy to make.

I've never tried this technique - amazing how well the scarf picks up the design without it blurring together. I usually use water based resists - have several time lapse videos planned with leaf printing and silk painting with brushes.
