Quite by accident, while searching for a particular book on Iris today, I discovered Louise Gluck’s breathtaking poetry in “The Wild Iris.” This from Louise: “Some poets do not see reaching many in spatial terms, as in the filled auditorium,” she said in her Nobel speech. “They see reaching many temporally, sequentially, many over time, into the future, but in some profound way these readers always come singly, one by one.” I am that reader. Thank you for your gift Louise.🙏
It haunts me that her poem “Song” is the last poem from her last poem collection Winter Recipes From The Collective. Thank you Louise, we are forever in your debt.
Rest in peace, Louise. Thank you for an enormous inspiration to carry on. And thank you to Nobel Prize for posting this.
Rest in peace dear Louise, I love your work forever, it has been with me since then, greetings to heaven from an anonymous reader in Peru
I'm so glad to hear your words

RIP Louise. You continue to inspire me in so many ways.
