That was a very sweet memory of the late Mike McCracken. I had read an interview with him back in 1983 - he had worked for several years as an apprentice to John Chambers (the award winning make-up wizard that John Goodman played in the film "Argo") and "Psycho II" was his first job being in charge of the make-up effects. While his work on that film required more gruesome effects he really did some stunning character designs on non-horror films like "The Wiz" and "Heartbeeps".
I went to visit my grandparents today & watched this with my grandma. She loved your rendition towards the end! Especially after I explained the context behind it. ❤️
I like singing, I just forget and all of another year has gone by. I used to sing all the time with my mother before she passed away as it seemed to bring her back to herself.
So beautiful and a really lovely personality! Thank you, Meg, it's really good to see you and listen to those movie curiosities and experiences. Hope you make more videos.
Hi Meg the special effects guy working on one dark night was Ellis Burman who went on to do effects for The Star trek movies his brother Thomas Burman also did special effects on one dark night.
Thanks so much for answering my question, Meg!!! xxxx I am one of the many fans of you from 'Psycho II' and I was gutted that you were not interviewed on 'The Psycho Legacy' documentary as you are the actor I most admire from the franchise. Did you turn it down, may I ask? I hate to think you're experience on that film was so bad that you don't really like to recollect it at all.... the fact that your performance as Mary was so standout and (in my opinion) you stole every scene you were in, is all the more astounding and testament to your talent if behind the scenes was hell. Much love forever, Robert xxx
I'm so glad you enjoyed my performance. They did want to talk with me, but it was such a challenging time on the set and he had children, must be grown now, but he has passed away and I think his behaviour came out of insecurity perhaps. Anyway, I knew if I did an interview, I would be asked lots of specific questions and I thought it would be better not to do the interview, because I didn't want to lie, but I also would prefer not to talk bad about him or go into specifics.
@@megscozyteatime3760 Your reasoning alone just backs up what a lovely person you clearly are!! Please just know Meg, that every single fan of that film is knocked out by your performance and your chemistry with Perkins is spellbinding. I wish you hadn't have endured such a terrible time whilst making it, although your dealing with it when asked by fans like me, exudes nothing but class, decency and respect. You're a true legend and one off, Meg!!!! xxxxxx
Irish Breakfast has a moderate amount of caffeine I like it in the morning, later in the day I drink White Peony, Bai Mu Dan, a light caff tea great for evening. Peace Young Lass, love your work, from movies to books, am so glad to find your UA-cam channel.
Thank you for singing that, Meg! There was just a detectable change when you went from conscious singing, to singing from the heart...it was very pretty! My dad used to play us his records of Gilbert & Sullivan musicals...they are really quite brilliant lyrics. More appreciative now, lol. Stay safe, my friend 😊♥️🇨🇦
Sweeeeet ! Enjoyed watching this SO much, Marvelous Meg ! Especially your beautiful singing ! Your videos are truly the highlight of my week ! Looking forward to your next video next Monday ! Hope you & your loved ones have a wonderful weekend ! Best wishes always from Central Calif !! :-)
In Cozy Tea Time #5 you mentioned not having a TV growing up. Are you a big TV watcher now? What are your favorite show or what do you do instead of TV especially with the lockdown?
In some of these videos when you talk very softly or have a certain expression in your eyes I am reminded of Agnes. So I'll make my question, "Were/are there any similarities between you and the character of Agnes?" I was ten years old when I first saw Agnes of God and I absolutely loved it and loved you as Agnes. Still do! ♥️
I pulled up a song on my phone when my mother was on her deathbed - The Wings of an Angel by Sara McLaughlin. She passed not long after. My sister thinks the song helped her let go.
You still have a lovely singing voice Meg! I just ADORED you in Agnes of God...seriously. Shoot, now I have to see if I can watch that movie as I haven't seen it in ages! Can you tell me what about that story made you want to be a part of it? Or was it like "I have bills, let's do this!" ? lol Also, what was it like working with Anne Bancroft?
Wow, I watched One Dark Night a couple of weeks ago. Scary movie when I first watched it when it was released and still scary now. However I love the thrill of being scared, lol. You have an angelic voice. ♥️
Meg u look great with the spirit of a teen. Is it true that u recorded One dark night in 1981 but the film was released just in 1983? Do u know what happended to David Manson Daniels? Once I read somewhere he has passed away. What about Robin Evans ? Do u keep in touch wirh one of them?
Hi Stephy! I don't remember what year I shot, One Dark Night, but it makes sense that it was released two years later. Most film take at least a year after the end of shooting to make it into the movie theatres.I don't know what happened to the other actors. As it was a relatively short shoot and we didn't stay in touch.
@@megscozyteatime3760 Wow so kind u replied me! Usually the celebraties don' t give too much attention to fans. You look great indeed! Yeap I know it takes a year for the film to be released after the shooting but it is said this film took 2 years. Did u go to the premiere of it? It is a film which I saw on TV in 1988 I was 13 or 14 I got really astonhished and it kind of scared me. Robin Evans works with Real State nowadays and the actor who was your boyfriend on the film really has vanished. Actually both of them. I do hope u join more films or even TV let us know that. From time to time I like to see your scenes from the horror movies. Take care and kisses from a fan from Rio,Brazil. I will follow u on Instagram u must have it. I do like u! 😘😘😘
Thank you for talking about one dark night I love the movie I thought it was great. And I always wonder how does Hollywood get to permission to do movies in Mausoleum and graveyards?
Good question! Movie crews have a location manager they have access to massive files of locations that are available to rent. Also, if they find something that looks perfect they will knock on doors. The narrow the choices down and then the director, producer and production manager will choose the various locations keeping in mind the area, travel time and budget etc.
Three Little Maids From School, from The Mikado, by Gilbert & Sullivan. At the end, Dona Nobis Pacem (“give us peace”), words from the Latin mass & melody attributed to Mozart.
You can still say 'actress'. You can be proud to be a woman even if the politicians refuse to define what a woman is these days. Women are great. Men too.

This Tea Time gives me so much peace. "They all do" This one is just Wow!! 👏
Sube, thank you for your lovely comment!💐

Thanks for singing. It was a pleasant surprise.
I like singing, I just forget and all of another year has gone by. I used to sing all the time with my mother before she passed away as it seemed to bring her back to herself.
When I was at boarding school, one weekend our dorm parents let us rent One Dark Night. Scared the living daylights out of all of us!
Hearing you sing was easily the highlight of my day. These days are clearly very hard on everyone, and it was a very comforting moment of peace.
So beautiful and a really lovely personality! Thank you, Meg, it's really good to see you and listen to those movie curiosities and experiences. Hope you make more videos.
The singing at the end reminds me of Bryn Mawr.
Oh thank you! I'm so glad you are loving my videos!😊

How interesting! I didn't know that, Karl. The things I learn from all you intrepid TeaTimers!😊
That was so beautiful Meg!! I could listen to that over and over and probably will! Thank you so much!❤️❤️❤️❤️
