All 4 of the guests were actors that's why one of them said that he couldn't shave his beard because of his job. That's why the Tacos looked questionable with colored tortillas, the Pit Crew is from Colombia, 2 hosts that speak broken Spanish, edited by people that don't understand the product so that's why Drag Race Mexico is a Frankenstein and has been received with mixed opinions by the Drag fanbase in Mexico.

In some countries they insist on facial hair standards - sometimes no hair, sometimes a beard and other times you're made to pick one and not vary. Chile has a rule that your current facial hair should match that shown in your passport photo. Basically you make a choice before application on how you intend to have your facial hair on a daily basis and stick to it until renewal. Maybe he didn't want to risk being held at customs. Sadly not all countries are as liberal as the ones we're lucky to live in, even if our liberties are fragile and hard won. 🖤

It's a makeover, yes, but why do we have to drag that hair into it when the makeover encompasses so much more than that. To some people (i count myself as one of those), shaving off your beard is as much of a 'no thank you' as shaving off your eyebrows.
