I've been through so much in life and to feel like someone knows my struggle, or even has been there. This song from Dir en Grey has felt like my anthem since the moment I first listened. And it's helped me to bloom into the person I knew I could one day be.. Thank you for making such a beautiful cover of an already profound and touching song.
I love the build up of emotion in this video. Kevin did a GREAT job to create the atmosphere too. Listening to it over and over but yeah, she definitely captures Kyo's world. Not all, but the best parts are always on point. The song order of the album was decided by Kyo. Feels like a strong song. No matter how dark and how much pain you carry, you must move on. The person hears the song, I'll just say she. She hates the song. Why? Because the lyric is dead and the words barley has meaning...The she realizes that her life is dead and fake as well, just like the song... Then she realizes why she hates the song. But the reason why she lied to herself and act like who she wasn't, was not to get along with others. What's the reason? The spring is about to come to the main character that realizes but still does not understand why. Just like Tousei, main character usually realizes something by the end of the song with build up of emotion. She held herself down because she did not want to lose important people around her. She was, not sure how to say but tricking? Fooling? herself just like how she was tricked/fooled by "somebody" in the past. She starts realizing even more and now starts walking the bright brilliant road. The red ranunculus means "very attractive"? Maybe "You are full of beauty"? Not too good with the translation. Might be the message saying be confident with your true self. Why is she living? In the end it gives a strong message saying you should live for yourself. If you're killing yourself, scream and live! I think they had similar lyric from the song called "C".
EXCELLENT ... as a huge DEG fan, this is absolutely beautiful....and I thought no one could ever do this song justice in a cover version. You my dear, and your fellow artists, have done an outstanding job. This is my fave track from the new album and I can't get enough of it. Bravo.
