Lanky you have created a You Tube masterpiece - the soundtrack is wicked sick and the arc of engine notes is heard, complete - the angles you chose should be copped by IMSA & Radio LeMans. almost overwhelming.
Oh man that high lonesome sound - worried though now that Aston & Chev have dumped V8s - leaves us Bentley, Lexus, AMG, and the Caddy protos. loved this when the loudest car ever, that GTR 1, showed up first. I suppose Lanky you remember them running nose to tail around Daytona. Terrifying; and as dusk fell they got louder By dark though they were both out .
I really hope I get to go this year. Last time was in 2015 and i had a blast. This time I have my DSLR and I’m pretty decent at photography so hopefully I can go and get some pictures. Just gotta find spots without a fence in the way 😂
Hey Lanky Porsche will be private testing at Daytona October 30th & 31st and at Sebring November 19th. Plans to attend either sessions? I'm really curious with the Porsche exhaust development they have been teasing. Hopefully the beautiful sounds stay.
Yeah I was wondering if they're planning on running the "updated" car then too. My plan is to drive to Daytona and listen for it before I commit to another track tour. Acura NSX testing that day too so hopefully I can differentiate that sound from the new Porsches.
my dad got invited by bmw and asked me if i wanted to come along and ive never been to a race before. i have to say this was a great event, the cars and the atmosphere of the place was really great
my very first imsa race, made me fall in love with racing and the ford GT was the most beautiful piece of machinery I've ever seen

Me: Wow all of these cars sound so unique and I love hearing each one of them
Porsche: MY VICIOUS HOWL IS THE ONLY THING YOU WILL EVER HEAR
That is so fucking true lmao
I was at the petit le mans in 2018 and my ears were ringing at the end of the day because of the Porsche
CONGRATS to the Corvette Racing Team on winning their THIRD Team Championship in a row! TAKE THAT, IMSA and your BoP restrictions! :-)))

Wow what great content! I almost felt like I was there. This is definitely one of my new favorite racing pages.
Thanks Buckeyeboi!!

That's great I'm glad you enjoyed your first race, it'd be hard to pick a better one!
Used to live there. Had to move back to California 😹 it really sucks here. I miss Georgia
10:27 where were you to take this? Looks pretty close and doesn’t have a fence or anything in the way. It’d be nice to get some photos there.
Titanic Master sick. Thanks!
High resolution..great coverage. Thanks for posting. :))
Porsches should use the GT1 livery during all season, it's miles better than the regular white-red-black one.
Agree, I read they'll be using other retro liveries at some races next year.
"A nightmare in the rearview" Yeah you're not wrong about that 😂
It looks like a very cool event to go to. The problem is the race is 10 hours. What a thrilling finish
Amazing 👍👍👍. R u going to this years classic 24 hours of Daytona Lanky?
Yeah I'll be there Saturday and at the IMSA Michelin race in Sebring on Sunday.
Lanky Turtle awesome looking forward to the video 👍
Excellent as always! Thanks.
Thank YOU!
PASS @ 8:49 !!
We were standing right beside you at the start
Right on that's a good spot!
Thanks Lanky, I was there!
I hope you had a great time! I always mean to go every year but have only made it a few times.
I did, it's only twenty minutes from me, so it's an easy ride.
That panoz is gorgeous
Yeah I love that car, seeing it at Daytona in '97 kind of got me back into sportscar racing at the time.
Corvette unbeatable and Cadillac..so GM dominate racing at the moment in their class. So cool.
5:59 Well that covers my request for the honda and the ferrari at that spot.
This is well put together 👍🏽
Thanks!
Your welcome hopefully I will get a chance to go to one of these races in the near future
Montoya going off at 3:32
A awesome video!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching it!
I was there!!!
That's awesome, it's a great track and event!
Chevy rules baby third consecutive champions for team corvette
the revolution keeps on going baby Thank God for Chevrolet
Not bad at all for a car going into retirement. The C7.R and both teams have been very dominant since the car debuted. Cant wait for the new C8.R.
Quality!

SO KOOL!!! Thanks for the trackside Xpeeree'enz! Check out my trackside vids of Long Beach Turn 10 !!
Poor video...mostly shooting at rear ends or fenced!
LOL!
Like they’d allow anyone to get on to the track or grass to film?
