- Epiphyllum on Sabal palm, in south Florida. I am not sure as to the variety. Species or Hybrid. Appears to grow from the ground, but likely is epiphytic. Since I have spotted the plant, I have seen at least 3 more, 2 growing on Sabal palms and one on Pine. The growths appeared slightly different, one has a more or less triangular growths, and another more slender form.
The one I pictured was not fragrant. The flower had a musty smell, likely attracting some night pollinators, if in fact native.
Update: Thank you for the input. It helped me identify this as another Selenicereus . Since yesterday, I have seen many pictures and information, stating Selenicereus grandiflorus are seen as large specimens, in Sanford, Melbourne, Port Charlotte etc. Seen climbing onto Sabal palms and Pines. A mention of some sort of wasp that would pollinate it. What a difference walking in old neighborhoods with overgrown trees and plants vs pristine lawns makes.. - Розваги
I think you've found snake vine cactus (Selenicereus pteranthus - Princess of the Night). Probably bat and moth pollinated. Just gorgeous!!

Fun finds ! Looks like it’s been growing there for quite a while.
