I live about an hour from Duluth. And I know the shopping center you're referring to, it's in Canal Park. And yes, every store has such interesting things. I've lived here for 42 years and never get tired of visiting Duluth.
My goodness your voice is the most pleasant, calming sound I've ever heard. You could tell me I have 24 hours to live and I would be like " please, tell me more" 😂
I looooove your souvenir videos so much! Your videos deserve a million views each, but I've been listening to them pretty much every day for almost a year so I'll get them to a million even if I have to do it myself 😃
Сeramic bird is an ancient musical instrument. it is an imitation of birdsong. You can pour some water for the appropriate sound. Tail is the place to blow
I LOVE Duluth!! That's where my husband and I got engaged... i too am a sucker for a weird souvenir😆 Duluth and the fog does give spooky vibes! If you go there in October, they have that giant ship you can tour, all done up as a haunted ship experience, and years later, on our anniversary 🤷♀️🤦♀️we went to a ghost tour of an abandoned hospital. Why?? I don't know? 😆 but it does give you the creepy feel on a foggy Duluth night! Also, Duluth in October is possibly one of the most beautiful fall drives if you head up to gooseberry falls❤🧡💛 or way north to Grand Marais!! Love your video, as always!!!
Hello from MN! It just occurred to me listening to you describe the post-its that it might be a regional linguistic difference BECAUSE 3M is headquartered here: I do not know a SINGLE person who would call them sticky notes over just post-its, often casually as a single word “postits”. WILD. 😮
Great video! I'm from Duluth, MN - were the post-its from Dewitt-Seitz marketplace in Canal Park? Or Fitger's downtown? Hope you enjoyed your trip here!
I just had an internal double take bc I live on the absolute opposite side of the cities (so little familiarity w/ Maplewood) but drive that way to go out of town all the time (so have seen the 3M building on 94) and apparently had the WAY wrong idea of where Maplewood actually was! 😂
When I first discovered your channel, I was almost certain you were from Minnesota. You have the accent and there’s just something about your mannerisms that screams Midwest to me. But then I stumbled across this video. Listening to you talk about your trip to Minnesota as if it were some far away place made me suspicious of my suspicions. And those doodads you call souvenirs. Ok, they’re not terrible.. but next time get some Abdallah chocolates and a pair of Minnetonka moccasins. What really got me is when you struggled to recall the names of the Twin Cities. My God. She isn’t from Minnesota at all! 🥺😭 I don’t know why I’m so upset. I lived there for a long time so I guess I was thinking you were a fellow Minnesotan. Oh well. My next guess is East coast. I know nothing about the East coast so I think it’s a good guess 😉
Pennsylvania. I've figured that out. I think she grew up in Minnesota. No one travels to Duluth from Pennsylvania for a vacation. I can hear the accent. I'm from Iowa.

This is my favorite kind of video that you do. I still go back and watch the last one you did!

I've lived in Minnesota all my life. Duluth is beatiful and we go there whenever we can. My wife went to UMD.
I would die for a hair brushing video with that brush 😍

I’ll help 😂 I’ve already listened to this one quite a lot, not made it to the end awake yet
Your other souvenir video is one of my favorites! I’m so happy there’s another one 😍
Your audio has gotten so much better over the years. ❤
Love your vacation show & tells!
i’m glad you do! thank you 🙂

Your voice in my headphones is pure bliss! Soooo relaxing!
The soap store you mentioned sounds a lot like a Lush store, which I think you’d love…

I’ve been to that little shopping mall in Duluth, it’s such a neat place! Those are called “Sun catchers”.
that’s it! thank you!
You need to pour some water into the bird-whistle. And blow into the hole in the tail. Then it will sing like a real bird.
thank you! my daughter has become an expert now.
LOVE your show and tell videos.
Post it Notes were invented by 3M, a local company which stands for Minnesota, Mining and Manufacturing.
Wrong. Romy and Michelle invented post-its (if you know, you know)
thank you!
Someone just made my day…thanks for the video dear ❤️❤️
Soooo relaxing! Thank you!
Thank you!!

Well “post it” is trademarked
@@radbu1075 It can't be because you can easily post something.

Post it notes are made in Maplewood Minnesota. A suburb of St. Paul.
The company is 3M.

that bird whistle is blown from the pipe and you put a little water in it so it warbles and tweets
