Every video you make amazes me. It's incredible. I have a question, if it is possible to use materials to make text that will change depending on the parameters. Let's say I want to beautifully display the amount of money a player has. Like they did on the recently released lego map and on Bedwars map?
@@vadim_1234_x If I'm right that's done with atlases which hold letters or numbers and using flipbook. It's what comes to my mind right now, but I haven't tried to make it.
Ty for the tutorial. Since I didn't copy I was having trouble with the camera vector. I swear its like the USB super position, only once I try every single material expression, try making it myself, and am about to give up it then appears in search. (it's CameraVectorWS)
@@AsicsoN Still didnt finish solving it, I swear something about materials is so difficult for me. I am great with niagara, great with code, pretty good with control rig, but materials are the bane of my existence.
really great tutorial. but i am flabbergasted how convoluted and tedious this workflow is compared to a 3D DCC. i could have made the same stuff in 5 minutes in 3ds with vray with 1/100th clicks
@@AsicsoN I agree but on the other side epic games advertises ue as a render solution. I wished they would find a better workflow though I don't know what it could be
@@JaXuun Yes. It's just hard to make drastic changes as that will affect many people who already using it. So bigger the tool harder it's to make changes. Same for example and 3ds, it does some stuff so hard to do while in other software almost one click.

On the custom interior cube map when i put it into the main material it says error missing function input 'tiling' how do i fix??
You need to input float or vector2 into tiling input of that node

How Did you get the Output UVW
When you create material function there is already output node.
Select it and in the left panel change it name.

Yes maybe, but you can't really compare offline rendering with real time rendering stuff which can run even on mobile devices.
