Watching Dimmu got me into playing MLB The Show and now onto my 4th year playing it. Wasnt very good to start with but Dimmu constantly saying just play on All-Star u will get better made me stick at it and this year I am getting better now which feels good. Keep up the awesome content.
First time doing ranked season ever.. been playing MLB since 21 when it launched on game pass. Currently 5-2 and loving the game and this series. Thanks Dimmu

7:13 if ur on Xbox (I didn’t pay attention to if he was or not) I’ve heard that there is in fact bots that you will play against. Usually have lots of paralleled low overall cards (like your opponent) not sure the exact reason why this is a thing

That guy in the first game was not a real person, it’s an AI bot that is used by those people who offer stub services on twitter and whatever.
How does that work exactly? No way they just lose games over and over to get stubs or xp.
How can that work if u gotta press onto ranked an go through a loading 2 find another person. That theory of urs is just plain out stupid
@@blazeappawora4610Buddy… there’s something called a macro, there’s also still a possibility that the person selects to search for game… and then the bot runs in the background and so once the game is loaded, the person can just go hands free

How do i change my fielding indicator for fly balls? I hate the big baseball
Watching the first game rn and I have to say those low overall live series just mash. If you get the chance in between grinds I would totally recommend players like Soler, Pederson, Varsho, or Garver. I have all of them at least parallel one and I’m batting over 400 with each
Honestly you need to try live series castellanos with the buxton boost, his stats are playable early on and the swing is just butter

You still gotta try out that 84 Willi Castro gold card from BR. His power might read around the 70s, but similar to Toni Stone that might as well be 90 power. I would put him at DH because his defense is, lets just say, not great. I know we love Stanton, but at least this Stanton can play the field with good enough speed and defense.
If u get castro with the buxton boost tier 3 hes op +15 power both sides so mid 80s and the +10 fielding and speed helps him make alot more plays, p5 will have 99 speed as well
If only Ray-Patrick Didder was in the game. Him and Bubba would have been an amazing duo, and great for no money spent.

I think the player you faced in the first game is a robot because I have faced about 5 people with pretty much the exact same team all parallels outfielders don’t move pitcher out of energy and don’t quit even after 40 runs

Just want to say, for as long as I’ve been playing, I suck. Only ever played franchise and RTTS. Tried DD this year. Took your advice of trying all star difficulty, and I’m 5-1 so far. It is doable people! Give it a try
This my first year on mlb playing anything other than RTTS. My mini season games are back and forth on veteran but I literally cannot hit on anything above that. Gonna keep trying tho appreciate the inspiration. I am 1-3 on ranked solo seasons.
@@Absith1 do you use the PCI? I was always so against using it, especially playing mostly franchise. But I started using it this year and it’s a huge difference. Tough learning curve for sure, but just gotta practice. Play conquest and practice on all star and the PCI if you’re not using it. I actually started the PCI with practice mode just to get the motion down. Certainly not great with it by any means, but I’m getting better
You ever done the PCI without the diamonds? Just the basic inner and nothing else, oddly it helped me not jam my PCI everywhere
Hey Dimmu, i realized that those bots now exist too. I would be careful tho, because it has kicked me out of the game twice now while playing them because I put up too many runs. Best thing to do is let them strike you out after you put up a little over 10 runs

Trying to play conquest on veteran to learn zone hitting. I always over correct and go from one extreme to the other. Any tips? Awesome seriesssss
get more reps really. Maybe since youre still new, place your left thumb so instead of the tip of the thumb, theres the first joint of the thumb on the left stick. Helps you move the pci less and possibly more accurate
