    Great content :), I just disagree with the last advice, I think the most important thing is to stay healthy, and just 30mins of sleep have a tremendous impact in your productivity and how you feel during the day, I wouldn't cut off that sleep time

    • @SimonHoiberg
      @SimonHoiberg  2 роки тому +11

      It is said with a huge disclaimer: Only do this for a limited period of time, and of course, listen to your body!
      So I agree with you, it's not advice that I'd give anyone as a longterm solution, for sure.
      Thanks for the feedback 😊

    • @jordixboy
      @jordixboy 2 роки тому

      @Hexiu Why people take stuff to the other extreme. Im a bodybuilder/powerlifter (not professional) and really know the importance of sleep hygiene, but nothing wrong if a limited period of time you sleep 6h/day to give that last push...

    • @marcoscarlomagno3065
      @marcoscarlomagno3065 2 роки тому +4

      I didnt want to create such polemic here. I just added my point of view about sleeping, sleeping is not negotiable in any case for me, but it's just my opinion based on what I know about me and my body. Every person is different and you can disagree, I wish good luck in your business/jobs to everyone!

    • @SimonHoiberg

      Short answer: With the first SaaS Product that I mention, I tried to innovate and create a new need.
      But as they say - there may be a gap in the market, but is there a market in the gap? It didn't work out for me.

    • @SimonHoiberg
      @SimonHoiberg  2 роки тому +4

      I don't disagree. These factors are important.
      The problem is when you get too focused on these factors. It becomes an excuse for not executing, an "explanation" of other's success that you use to protect your ego, and a source of analysis paralysis.
      So while being true - don't obsess over the idea of luck and timing.
      There are a ton of things you can do to greatly improve your chances of getting "lucky" and hitting the timing just right 😉
      The most important one: Just start doing! Execute!

      I'm still experimenting a bit with lighting and the scene in general - duly noted 😁

      That's a lighting technique actually.
      I know it may not seem ideal for the untrained eye but it's supposed to create a more professional effect. You can see this in many high level Documentaries. There's videos on this on UA-cam.

    Hey Simon,
    Mind putting me on to your video editor, especially for your intro? If you're indeed your own video editor, good fucking shit. And secondly, what's your editing stack?

    • @SimonHoiberg

      Hi, Brahma 😁
      Thanks a lot!
      I edit all my videos myself.
      I'm using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere and After Effects), and I am a heavy user of cool templates (like the intro) which I typically find on Envato market 🙌

      @@SimonHoiberg Yeah i know what you mean, it's just a tip to the devs that don't have Trello etc. Github isn't the best UI for the board but it works. Worked fine for me at least, you have tags, can add pictures, can set priority etc.

    You obviously dont have kids. That schedule is impossible with children, they are the definition of chaos even if they are on a schedule. You cannot schedule around sick children, visits to the principle and broken bones from sports, etc.
