@@astrounity8318 nah, I'm listening to the novel audiobooks at work and the characters still act like idiots with their flaws but they hate the idea of their group breaking up (minus the moments where Kazuma died and was sick of struggling so hard even when he most likely will never get back to Japan since someone else with an OP weapon or skill from Japan like him will end up beating the Demon King, most likely) Also Kazuma is MUCH nicer and considerate in the novels, he's still the same Kazutrash pervert that everyone knows but actually did a lot of things out of the kindness in his heart and he even got sick at the idea of Darkness never coming back. Then when they meet up with her again he wasn't thinking about getting rid of a useless team member like in the anime, he wanted Darkness to get married and live a good life against her wishes because he knew if they did meet the Demon King Darkness would put her dream of being his plaything above actually beating him or accomplishing the goal.
I actually like these ones because Kazuma would most likely act a lot like Gojovif he became powerful. A few differences would exist but still there is a comparison to be made
