Your cable at this point might be cut because I noticed that the position of your cable upon installing the NEW cable is in reverse. The cable position should be going upward not downward. (watch 7:14 upon removing the cable it is positioned upward). Before installing the cable dont forget to lubricate the cable with SILICON OIL) some has it already but for replacements. I doubt.
Hey mate just did my cable and got it all oriented correctly, but which part of the cable are you talking about to lubricate? The hooks where the cable connects to the clutch fork and the pedal hook? Thanks
please help: I have a 2004 model: it is very difficult to get to these 2 screws on the engine side. Do I have to remove the plastic cover under the steering wheel?

I repleced my clucth cable oof same car but it brokes after 2 days wich should be the problem? I also get changed my clucth plates but i don't know why it brokes after 2 days the cable?
All cars have different ideal temperature, usually rad fan turns on from 93 degree celsius to 99 degree celsius. So rad fan should turn on within those temperature. so mine turns on at 99 degree celsius
Nice video, my pedal go not simple when i have put it down. I also have trobles that my car hubs and bounds when i drive On a not flat road. Do you know what the problem can be pls.
It sounds like you have an under-chassis, problem, there are a lot of several videos out there on how to test your ball joint, tie rod, etc. If I have time I can also try to make one.
Hi thank you sm fir your reply. You make good and understanding video.s it will be nice when you csn help me with a video on my problem Tysm. Maybe ? Can it be the Stabilisatorstang? Can i replace that my self. Tjank you in advance
@@rampagediymechanics What radiator cleaned?I changed the clutch cable one month ago and today got torn rigt where it enters the cabin. The reason is that i touches the metal. Its true that the clutch is quiet hard to press.Do you think I should change the clutch?
@@lms12_ Hi probably you put it back on a wrong way like in this video. The cable should be down side not upside othervise the metal will cut the cable over and over again because at this point they are touching each other. When you install the new cable, go under the pedal and check if the cable is free to move in the middle or is it touching the metal. This video is a wrong example should be other way around the cable. But overall its a good video besides that fault.
Hi,i have a problem every 3-4 months and need to change clutch cable for Kia Picanto 2004 1.0 l petrol,i mention that i have change a clutch and cable as new but after 3-4 months a cable being broken 🤦♂️
Oh wow, I've never that before. make sure you purchase an original cable do not buy those replacement. Also make sure that the adjustment isn't putting a lot of stress on the cable.

For those watching the video, the clutch cable position between the firewall should be upward not downward, forgot to edit it in the video.
This really helps, i'll include this on my playlist for future reference. Thanks

So best way to disconnect cable from pedal first?
That's a good suggestion!
How long did it take overall, my mechanics quoted 1hour to diagnose and 3 hours to replace. Plus £110 for the part. That’s a total rip off right?

You're fitting the cable 180 degrees out as it goes thru the bulkhead. Take it to a professional to fit.
What u don’t have wide angle lense
