Hi, bro...i just want to know what is the max upgrade specs for this particular model...i already watch your other videos, in that video, you do told that you already try 4 gb ram and it's not working. Tq
ya you cant place a 4gb , it wont work there is a way to change the bios and get it to read the 4gb but the stability issue will be very common and you risking your bios. i suggest you upgrade the hdd to ssd. and you will see a major difference. any ssd 2.5' sata/ thank you for the support and feedback.

Where is the CMOS battery located on this laptop and how to access it? Please help - I need to replace the CMOS battery, because it won't remember the date and time.
Thank you for your feedback! If you enjoy the content, you can show your support by liking the video, subscribing to the channel, or doing both! Now, let's address your question, The CMOS battery on this model is not easily accessible as it is soldered onto the board. To replace it, you would need to desolder the terminals of the battery and find a new 3V watch battery. Alternatively, you can use a regular CR2032 battery with cables and solder the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals to the correct pads on the board. Here is a video (although quite old) that demonstrates the teardown process. While it may not be the exact same model as yours, the process is similar and can give you an idea of what to expect: Video Teardown: ua-cam.com/video/W7bteRANhRA/v-deo.html Additionally, I have provided a picture of the battery for reference: Battery Picture: imgur.com/a/HhqHMtA Please be cautious and take necessary precautions while working with electronics. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to ask.
@@uFixTek Thank you for your prompt reply. It's ridiculous how nowadays they make it so hard to access a part (the CMOS battery) which will need replacement sooner or later. The same goes for memory modules and hard drives - they used to be easily accessible under a piece of plastic attached by a couple of screws. Not any more. Now you have to take the whole laptop apart to replace them.
It's unfortunate to see how the industry has changed over time. Manufacturers often prioritize convenience for themselves rather than providing options for users to open, upgrade, and repair their electronics. This shift is largely driven by their resistance against the right to repair/service movement. In the past, there were companies that focused on creating flexible, upgradeable, and serviceable laptops. However, as more companies entered the market, the landscape shifted towards consumer preferences centered around CPU and GPU performance, storage capacity, and other visible features. Manufacturers tend to cater to what consumers want to hear, while silently working on strategies to encourage customers to purchase new laptops more frequently. This often involves locking CPUs on the motherboard, soldering RAM onto the board, and making it harder to access internal components for servicing. This trend was partially influenced by prominent brands like Apple, which initiated these limitations. It seems that the industry has become more focused on selling and reselling new laptops rather than creating durable and upgradable machines. As someone with over 17 years of experience in laptop and electronics servicing, I have witnessed this transformation from excellent build quality to concerning practices hidden under the hood. Whenever issues are brought to light, manufacturers tend to dismiss them as "defects" and then introduce new "defects" the following year while working around loopholes. In light of these developments, it's understandable why you advocate for PCs as a more viable option. Laptops, despite their portability, have become increasingly limited in various aspects.
