I kept waiting for the nod to the Casual Criminalist, and the rules about advertising your crimes. I mean if you don't write about your crimes, you certainly don't put them on social media.
Not to be weird, but has anyone else watched a bunch of Simon's videos during the day and then ended up with him narrating your dreams at night? .......just my wacky brain? Ok then. 😅
Nope, toooootally hasn't happened to me. I also haven't realized I was voicing my counter argument in my head about what was wrong with my car in his voice on multiple occasions >.>
You need to do one of these about Facebook next. This sort of thing happens there all the time because criminals are dumb and see their wanted post on the police station’s Facebook and then think it’s funny to comment catch me if you can. Or post about their crimes there or try to use Facebook to contact ‘the gang.’
Most likely it was presumptions of anonymity. Many do not realize how trivial it is to identify someone from a very small set of different facts. Deanonymizing is a major issue and has been well documented for at least 20 years and change that I am aware of, likely more.
It's actually super easy to post videos of yourself speeding and get in zero trouble. Just have to wait out the statute of limitations for any traffic crimes, usually a year. That's how the Cannonballers post their videos and times without getting fined afterwards.
Simon, I’ve lost all hope for mankind thanks to you. On a totally different topic, I hope you and your family are doing well. Children grow very quickly. I hope you are able to spend many, many quality years with them. Peace
My sister walked at her high school graduation with a guy who was caught robbing a gas station... while wearing a tank top and a tattoo of his last name on his arm
Simon jokes about keeping his writer Danny in the basement chained to a radiator. Makes a UA-cam vid about UA-cam sending people to jail. Me: You are ballsy sir. 😆
He is going to federal prison for sure. One of the things he can easily be charged with is terrorism under laws passed after 9/11 which criminalized intentionally crashing a plane.
I am not as disillusioned, bitter and cynical as I believed....I thought these are 10 cases of baddies being found thanks to the YT community....Why the hell would I think THAT?! Of course its just idiots being idiots and there is no such thing as a "community" on youtube (except maybe nerdfighteria but thats outside of YT as well)
The British UA-camr (GasKings) should have been on the list, Although I'm not sure his channel get him arrested... Cheers to the crew from Tampa Bay Florida ✌️
I would call these people “too dumb to be let out in public without adult supervision”. Kids, don’t do what these folks did. Your life will turn out much, much better.
The two guys that filmed their fast-paced (pun intended) adventurous drive from Scotland to Wales at over 100mph may have been criminals, but to put them in jail for *8 months* was rather stupid. The institutions that house criminals are overpopulated enough without locking up lead-footed rich kids who have no further ambition than to become UA-cam celebrities.
@@handyandyaus Don't be ridiculous. There were other forms of punishment without taking up prison space for a couple of rich kids with fast cars. *Seriously?*
@@NuclearMango. I'm guessing you have no idea about any priors or background etc. The fact they are possibly dumb rich kids makes their punishment even more fitting.
re: no 7 a naive couple didn't even test their idea first, even though they were using the largest caliber pistol. They chose an encyclopedia to be shot! The irony. What ssspirit of adventure and experiment they have
I actually live just outside the town where that book shooting incident took place, it was super sad, but also yeah not very well thought through. Weird to have a personal connection to a video like this
Like seriously, you should never do something like that but if you're going to you should at least shoot an equally thick book first to see if it will actually stop.
It's simple. NEVER...EVER...point a gun~whether loaded or not~at another human being. It's that simple. It's NOT a hard lesson. NEVER do it. Hell, at that range with that caliber of gun, it would've gone through a bullet-resistant vest. That's a heavy duty weapon. Of course, it would go through a book.
Honestly, UA-cam just pisses me off with their copyright BS. I have official license and permission to use a song in my videos intros but Tunecore, a company with no affiiliation with the artist who wrote my intro, claimed it and rejected my dispute to their claim over the song. Now i had to pull the whole video down because UA-cam stated i either mute the song or get a Copyright Strike in 7 days
If they wanted to see if a book would stop a bullet, why in god’s name didn’t they just put the book on the ground and shoot it to see what happened before trying the stunt.
Oh come on, a book should clearly be able to stop a round that was designed to be used in anti-tank rifles! Just poor luck on their part that the book wasn't made out of a foot thick piece of armor plating.
Yes. An hour not a flash second. Most couldn't find something more interesting. Lol I rate this channel slightly less than the box fan on low speed behind me. But hey its strangely relaxing ZZZZZZ as long as the channel is on it counts 😂😉
I remember the woman killing her boy friend by shooting him through the book. They had a channel with a lot of videos on it, including some SHE made after she killed him. Wonder if they're still up?
LOL...the trespassers saw another channel do it so they wanted to do it too. What they didn't understand was that the other channel actually got PERMISSION from the store to stay overnight and to pay for any items that they used (ie food, water, soda, etc.). Of course, channels don't advertise that they get "permission" because where's the thrill in that? Wait...why is the video still up on YT? Isn't that against their terms of service?
If the last guy never admitted to his crimes he could have got off, because really, what company only makes ONE pair of shoes and sells them to one person??
Simon is more than doing his part. I am still waiting for the "Simon Says" channel, which is all about Simon's other channels.
