JBL Xtreme 2 Firmware Sound-Comparison 1.2 vs 2.0

In this video we compare the JBL Xtreme 2 Firmware 1.2 (the very old FW) to the newest (Aug. 2019) FW 2.0
We all know that the first FW was not very loud. With the release of FW 1.6 the Xtreme 2 got louder. In this video we don't want to compare the difference in overall-loudness, cause there are different other videos on youtube which show it.
In this video I want to show that soundwise there is not such a big difference between FW 1.2 and FW 2.0. I have included a measurement of both Firmware-Versions where you can see, that see old 1.2 has a little bit more treble. Mids and Bass are almost the same!
The two songs should show the difference in sound at 50% and 80% volume. They should NOT compare the loudness of those FW-Versions!

In my opinion the 2.0 is more robust especially with overall balance musical detail and stereo separation. Thanks for the comparison 👍

Wow the exerme 2 now pack a lot of bass. Bought my exreme 2 two days ago and it plays well good deep bass great sound.
