From the album a night to remember released Thursday, May 9, 1989. I ran to the record store to buy the album. My mother passed away that very day. It was my first night without her. Thank you Cyndi Lauper. You got me through a lot of grief with your excellent songwriting. I listen to this album over and over again. This is my favorite album from Cyndi Lauper.
So many good songs. Lots of heartfelt songs.
Cyndi is one of very few singers who sings even better live than in studio.
Amazing version, one of my favorite songs! :) Such an underrated single. There is something so magical when you hear a live version, after all this years that you had only listened to the album version. Suddenly, the song comes alive, after so many decades....

I was born in 1980 and when i first heard her when i was 5 years old i fell in love, with her voice and then when i saw her video i trully fell in love, till today that voice she has drives me crazy but only on her, she is a unicorn, something we see only once in a lifetime. 😍😍😍 she is still beautiful till this day.

One of my favorites from A Night To Remember. Never seen her perform it before. What a treat! This was my theme song in 1997 when I actually moved to the West Coast of US. I listened to it every day on the long drive.
