i was greeted by 3 terror birds 2 regular raptors and 1 alpha raptor, killing them all was simple besides the alpha raptor but didn't die lol in the red wood going into the swamp then wandered into the plains where i now have 1 giga 1 tek rex lvl 304 and 5 or 6 rexes and other needed dinos lol only died once while trying to tame the tek rex while being over weight lol
I usually spawn in the beach area, get up to metal tools, farm crystals, tame a wyvern, and then I go to about 41.4 and 52.0 and that's usually where I build a house but sometimes I go to the floating islands, but basilisks spawn there and those things are evil, the only stuff that spawns near where I usually go is direwolfs, sabers, argys and the occasional direbear and daeodon
The pteranodon egg strat is quite bad since the heirs are much more quicker than you, just hop on the back of a normal crystal wyvern while it's landed and feed it crystal, op strat and quick tame with minimal risk.
the only drawback is waiting so long to feed you can accidentally fall off (very high). OR - you could fall asleep waiting on the next feed, and having your controller fall, accidentally hitting R2 (which punches the wyvern), and then get absolutely destroyed. This just happened to me yesterday- oops.
The southwest is perfect! That desert area is hard. Died four times but got the egg! And my pterodon was just sitting there, waiting for me. Under the ledge while I was getting killed. We made it home. I put my base on top of one of those flatter areas in the southwest.
Quicker way to get a wyvern, note run island till level 65 then go crystal isles get crystals hop on the dragons back lay down and keep feeding crystals job done.
Because I find it a pain having to tame the crystal wyverns passively. You have to knock the wyvern out to get the prime crystal and then get a cross bow with a hook attachment so you can feed them without them flying off. Much easier to get on a decently fast mount of steal the eggs.
You can steel or knock one out take the primal crystal and passive tame them. I would recommend stealing them because they eat crystal not primal crystal also get ember wyverns yes they are the slowest but best for dmg blood is medium in dmg and speed and tropical is the weakest but fastest and you can imprint
@@tobyspamsl2708 you dont need airconditioners. A dozen or more standing torches will do the job perfectly. You just have to make sure that it doesnt kill itself on the torches when it spawns.

Depends if you have the mod installed or not. The engram should still stay even if the Snowowls don't spawn ... this is a weird error. Are you on console?
I gave you things you should do in crystal Isles. If I made 8 things on any game it would be to do with playing the game and the watch my videos was just a cheeky self promo. A lot of people found this useful, I am sorry you didn't

xD I never ran into a kapro, I guess if you are closer to the swamp biome you will run into Kapro's

Kapros spawn is the left corner, as well as sarcos and barys, stay away from the water as much as possible

One of the safest places to start off in me the moment I start I get destroyed by a baryonyx
The bary's are a pain but you can get to high ground to stay away from them

1:00 there’s also a tone of Kaprosuchos, lacks resources and is really spread out so without fast tamed it’s difficult to grind through early game

There's actually three kinds of wyverns tropical wyvern, ember wyvern, and blood wyvern

I spawned in the center, great for metal! Sure it's a bit dangerous but you get to metal very fast, if you die you just respawn at bed or near center
It really is! The centre is a really good sport for more advanced players

Why not stay safe in the starter Area Level up and passiv tame one of the Tropical wyvern ?

Yeah they spawn in the crystal beach area, majority is safer zones
As soon as I spawned I got crystals and got a wyvern strait away

It will follow you for a very long time and might kill your dragon if it is a high level

you place down air conditioners and drop the egg then it hatches.

You have to be lvl 65 to tame a crystal wyvern...you can't just start and tame one.
