Hi Peter. Yes, I agree that new vinyl is expensive. I live in Mexico and the prices are about the same. I like buying vinyl, but I go to street fairs and usually old Deep Purple or Alice Cooper albums for around 10 dollars in decent condition. So I like to do that. I haven't bought a lot of new vinyl this year. - John
I’ve really cut down too due to the cost of living increase. I paid £40 for the black crowes crowology reissue but it was 3 records and coloured vinyl. But I don’t buy much at the minute.
Over here in Ireland, new vinyl is about 50 euros, which is about 80 Australian dollars, so prices are about the same. Our government takes 23% VAT. It is crazy, but it is what it is. CDs are much cheaper, and I prefer them anyway. Great video.
Vinyl is out of my price range these days. I mostly stream or buy CDs (of my favorite bands). There's between 10-20 artists that I still check out regularly at the shops and I go to a lot of specialty stores to find older albums on CD. I work from home and listen to most everything either on my computer (I have extracted a lot of music) or from the CDs themselves. I can afford those... somewhat...
I'm not buying vinyl only CD and maybe tapes. Had to start my collection from scratch again. There's a second had cd stall close to me cds start from £3 each. Internet might go down in future its good to have hard copy.

Hi John. It seems that it’s pricey everywhere. Going to the fairs seems like the way to go. Thanks for watching.

Hi Steve. Yes, it makes perfect sense how you listen. Vinyl is out of my price range too.
Vinyl prices are insane, Peter! I can barely afford to complete the set of gold AC/DC LP’s!
Yes, it’s nuts these days. Thanks Scott.
@@MrMojoRisin all because Australian prices are outrageous as well! And no worries.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Yes, fair enough.
