Good day boss. Thank you for this video. It was really very insightful. You made mention of doing another video for criteria's and things needed to get into the Improved JCF role Please I'm eagerly anticipating the video. Thank you for your time
Great video doctor. For non-training jobs, I've heard that it's getting much more difficult these days to get a job while FY2 is easier to get into. Any insights about this?
Hello. I just watched your UA-cam video about the JCF role Vs FY2 standalone. Thank you it was very enlightening. You mentioned that you can get your CREST form which is equivalent to FPCC signed off when working a JCF role and earn higher if the role is at a CT1 level. My question is if you've completed Housejob in Nigeria with only 1 year experience (NYSC), can you handle the responsibilities at the CT1 level especially because it's a new health care system and you're just learning how things work? I'm interested in anaesthesiology and I'm hoping to be able to build a good portfolio that can help me get a spot, but I'm worried that I may not be get my desired rotations with the FY2 standalone
Yes you can. The duties of an F2 and a CT1 are very similar, especially if the CT1 role is a non-training role. You can definitely handle the responsibilities
I don’t want to do NYSC after housejob. If I decide to move to the UK immediately after housejob, can I get F2 Non training jobs and also get my CREST signed off over a year??
Is there a designated period for application for improved JCF roles? Also is either one easier to get into? For instance fy2 requires the SJT test interviews and so on so may be harder to get into? Idk
No designated application period- though most vacancies are against Feb and August. It depends on your situation. They can be easy or difficult depending on who is applying
