Man this explains why I put 7 rounds of 7.62x39 FMJ rounds into a guy wearing boss armor and a full face shield like at 17:17, DID NOT DIE. I was so shocked because I hit all my shots even 1 of them was a head shot. Faceshield + OP armor = I'll just run next time.
and also spicy pinapples. when you play kitted the counter is nades, level 6 still gets one tapped with one pop. leg meta buckshot/rip slugs is something you need to watch out for too. so you need to come into raid with enough nades to counter nades. just trust me, kitted guys that aren't naded up are easy pickings. they over estimate how protected they are. hold and angle to long thinking they can peek, or push out without haste, some scav kitted metro runner with a backpack full of nades is looking for you, i know, im him. ch ch ch, ca ca ca. remember always fear the low kit guy, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. dont cost me a god damn thing to run like this, and ive 20+mil in the bank and more kits than i know what to do with. and i go in with grease gun and a dream. play kitted with little understanding youll be a poor, and unable to sustain such raids, if you play like a poor youll learn, and learn fast. then when you are so rich in wealth kits and information. raids become easy, effortless in comparison. so id say no bro. keep ammo dumping shitty fmj. youll mostly lose in the beginning but then youll learn, youll start gathering dog tags and having successes. remember we learn from our failures not from our successes. what you should have done was aim at his arms and legs, you sound accurate enough so its an experience thing. not a gear thing. youre target accusation was off due to lack of information and you would have killed him. better gear might help you win fights but it doesn't help you learn and youll feel every death.
Looks like I'm going to be spraying legs with cheap ammo going forward. No confusion about why one rig absorbed more rounds than the other in the heat of it.
I feel like getting ahold of the gunpowder you need to unlock the shooting range is waaayy too rare so hoping this helps some people who never got to test their guns.
hes totally correct about a facesheild i wandered into duo last night on my scav, thinking they were scavs, they got the jump on me, i killed the first but the second had that level 4 facemask and i shot him 3x to the face with my .45fmj and lost.
Was waiting on this one!
Man, armor is so much more important than I expected. I'm not rolling with level 3 anymore if I have a good gun, that's for sure.
