1. Want it badly enough. If you want something new, then you have to give up something old.
2. Have crystal clear goals. Follow it through. Happiness is by-product - this cannot be pursued.
3. Uplift others. You uplift yourself by uplifting other people.
4. Control your awareness. Aware between awareness (ball of light) and mind. Do one thing at a time.
5. Surround yourself with success.
6. Get clarity. Life is not short, it is actually long.
7. Push hard to get things done.
8. Be focused.
9. Walk away from energy vampires (people who drain your energy). Identify temporary energy vampires VS inherited energy vampires. (Do you feel uplifted or drained?) Most energy vampires do not work on theirselves. Why do you allow someone-else to come and drain you?
10. Meditate. There should be a destination (goal & purpose) - where do you want to be by meditating? Systematic process you have to figure out and practice every day.
+ how to deal with stress
Do one thing at one time. If we allow awareness to travel time, then it will create anxiety.

Thank you so much for this video - I requested it actually but I'm sure many people did! - Dandapani is so inspiring and I love his really practical advice! As for the questions :
1. Continue to develop my company so I can comfortably live from my passion (writing) / Eventually help others to live from this same passion / Become healthier as I get older
2. Well my motto is ; you never regret being kind so I try to apply this everyday. I love to connect with people, even with a simple smile.
3. My morning routine is pretty busy as it is... Yoga, meditation, walk with the dogs, inspiring videos... Maybe some reading!
Thank you again for the video, I loved it and my favorite rule was "control your awareness". I found it so important and I really need to work on my focus skills :p
As a elementary teacher, I cannot tell you just how applicable these tips are to everyone but especially teachers. Wonderful and profound advice that anyone can take to heart, like guidestones.

Hard for me to forget how he explains understanding the difference between a mind and awareness - a lit candle and how to focus it on what's important at that particular time. I will remember this whenever other attractions fight for my attention, focus.

I was 28 yr old with no future, dead-end job, low self-esteem, no direction, no money, no family background, no friends at top places, in short , hopeless. I was going through days mechanically day after day being miserable. I was searching for "how" to get out of the mess going from one "self-help" book to another as the speaker said, with no solutions in sight. The "how" part is right in front of my eyes but I couldn't see it. The real order of achieving your goal, in my humble opinion, is 1) why 2) what and 3) How. Most people jump to "how" and fail. I did not know these 10 principles in the video back then but when I look back, I did exactly those. Long story short, I am in a position now where I couldn't even imagine in my wildest dreams, financially(as a by-product) or life in general. Once you figure out "Why" part, you meditate on it and want that so bad enough, every fiber of your body and mind seeks it when you are awake and asleep, then the "what" and "how" appear "magically" in your life. There are some laws of nature like laws of physics, if we understand, we can leverage them for setting goals and achieve what we want. I am not saying I have arrived or know it all, but just sharing my experience. Hope it gives hope.

Going off of his mapping theory, and his energy theory, I can say it's almost like driving a car. City vs Highway miles. If you are in cruise mode, you are going to use less energy than if you're stopping and going throughout a city. Cruise as in, conscious in one task. City as in, starting a task, stopping, using gas to push off into another task, stopping, etc.

Hinduism is all about the atman and self realization and merging back to your divine state which is eternal. so you may change body over and over and are reborn but you truly live on forever and are also guaranteed enlightenment as everyone has to break the cycle of life and death. so you are divine and eternal. you just have to become self realized and move out and away from what is called maya.
