Jame's voice was still so good here. It wasn't long until the tour began to permanently wear it out.
His voice was brutal until 1993, he took it back in 1994 because he knew that if he continued like this hee would lose his whole voice!

Gareth McNicol nah. Taper is just in a similar spot to the hard cam on screen and the taper is using a tripod so it's a really good steady recording

As if listening to Seek & Destroy from this show in various funny montage videos wasn't enough, now I've got the following parts playing in my head right when I'm about to do something important:

EVH - Agree 100% - he was a perfect fit for Metallica,
James screwed up with that one, lost Jason for a stupid reason. If it weren't for that I think Jason would still be
with them, where he belongs. No disrespect to Trujillo but
I "still" can't get used to him in Metallica, he just isn't the
right fit, seems out of place like he's in the wrong band.
And when he does that absolutely ridiculous "crabwalk"
or whatever u call it, that is so NOT Metallica. I've said it before, but it looks like an audition for a part in that
cartoon Spongebob Square Pants. First time he did that James should have told him, "uh, no, this is Metallica we
don't do "crabwalks" - I seriously still cringe when I see him
do that. A caveman who does crabwalks or Jason, who was
100% Metallica material and brought a great energy to the
shows and band overall. Only complaint I ever had with Jason (imo it was a "really bad" decision him cutting his hair). And then when other ones went and cut theirs - "NEVER" should have cut their hair when they did. Now they have a sometimes Pocahantas doing a crabwalk. Good grief.
