This is what happen when a player is in silver with knowledges of bronze : a complete disaster. This dps player have ideas BUT don't know how to apply them.

As a support main, if I see this in game, they're not worth the time to heal. Which I hate, because I play support to help >others< pop off, but that... there's no helping that.
@Underhelnope, because you’re not playing against overwatch league pros, you’re playing against people that are this rank, with enemies that make the same mistakes by running off or taking 1v5s or running after people they can’t on support. Don’t add to the mistakes your team makes (to the extent that you can) and you’ll win more than you lose. It’s still frustrating but it’s frustrating because your teammates’ mistakes are way more noticeable than your enemies’ mistakes. But they absolutely are making them.

they don't realize what their actual mistakes are, so when one play fails they'll default to revert to the polar opposite next time. They have no grasp of nuance in plays, they just see "I tried going this way last time, I got rolled. Therefore I will go the extreme opposite side next time" - and gets rolled again. They see their play failing, but they don't see why. That's the crucial part, and in lack of understanding why they fail, they try to change their surrounding context instead of understanding and changing their play. So they'll change where they go on the map, what hero they pic, etc. But they wont change how they play those heroes, or how they position on the map regardless of where they are and who they fight and what abilities they have at their disposal..
I don't even think this person plays on PC mostly. Notice especially on the Mei how the movement is almost linear. Might be someone who is trying to learn M&K but doesn't have full control so their flanks, which have potential, end up being awful because they can't move
They also need to buy a headset because the amount of times an enemy was stomping around behind them and they had no reaction until they were one shot from death.
As a support main these are the kids who BM you and just spam need healing However they have no game sense. They dont know about teamwork nor do they know about cool downs. They play mystery heroes in a ranked role or open queue and never listen to anything. I cannot wait for the ranked reset next season.
I'm telling you man. I play with my friend who believes that if he faces tanks as a tank or DPS, he will win every game. I've just been letting him die because either he learns he's out of position for heals or he goes back to spawn. I'm plat 1 and he's silver 2

I've still never placed as a dps. Open queue from 2016 until role queue, then flex queue. So I'd normally place and move a little on tank, climb in support, and have maybe 3 dps games all season.
orisa and hog meta is definitely back, especially with yet another nerf to ana nade. played a game earlier against hog with a kiriko pocket and mercy rezzing him and it was just hopeless, I threw nades all game for nothing, the time is too low to follow up even if kiri doesn’t cleanse. and orisa is just what tanks swap to now and suddenly start winning the game
Another player who spam-moves, juking left and right, even though nobody is even looking at them. They're too focused on trying to look like a pro, to learn how to play as a beginner. "Oh, wow! My movement is so leet!" No... no, it's not. It's pointless; and probably even detrimental to your development as a player.
No gameplan no aim and react to stimuli only. Doing things for the sake of doing it. Start over from bronze please, fundamentals need to be understood before u go up to silver.
Ain't no way this is silver unless they recently placed and are on their way to bronze. Aim isn't there, positioning is usually garbage and decision making is very poor. Only 2 engagements they did not hard feed in. If they are in fact in silver they are lucky and punching above their weight class. It's so egregious that it is suspect of trolling. Otherwise how are you not embarrassed beyond belief when you go back and watch this... Then decide to post it asking for advice. Emongg's general advice of just don't be dumb speaks volumes.

i think there's probably a significant number of differences between the feedback you give and how you give it and the feedback emongg gives and how he gives it. it's most likely not just because he's a streamer and you're not lmao if you give advice like an asshole, people are entitled to call you an asshole. if you give constructive feedback from a place of helpfulness and humility, then people are more likely to listen

I have to LOOK AT MY FINGERS TO SEE WHAT BUTTONS IM PUSHING. I’m noob af, but can still roll people on pc on ow.. it’s quite hilarious to be honest. Because I’m so freaking bad, I don’t think I’m better than then at all.

Yeah, I was always confused why my DPS were never super good when I play tank till I started watching replays like this one in most of my games.
I must have heard the song 20 times now and I just realized there are actual words being sung.

His biggest problem with sym was timing and not knowing where the reaper was. Reaper destroys syms who don't pay attention.
