    I think price will kill the sales of these new toyota trucks. I just think toyota doesn't realize how much of the population can afford a 60k+ truck.

      Absolutely! Although knowing the emotional attachment some people have to their Toyota trucks I’m worried people will continue to over extend themselves with insanely lengthy car payments just to have one…😬

    Love the new one's bulldog pug looking face/front-end. It's adorable! 🐶

      I think a lot of people are going to like the new exterior! I’d like to see a side by side comparison with the 5th gen to see just how different or more bold it looks in person. 🙂

    Can’t sleep in the back with the new tumble rear seats

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  Місяць тому +1

      The 5th gen also had that style of fold forward seats! But I’m not sure how popular car camping inside those were. 🤷‍♂️🤔

      @@AutomotiveAnonymous208no sir, the rear seats actually have a completely different mechanism that envelops the seat back completely flat so it becomes part of the flat surface. By the way, I sleep in the back of mine all the time and if you look at the new design this will no longer be possible. Check it out.

    Any news on the land cruiser mini? I need something less pricey.

      I personally haven’t heard anything solid about that for the U.S. Market. But hopefully they do offer a more reasonably priced option that’s cooler than a Corolla Cross 😂.

      Congrats on the 24! I’ve definitely been tempted by the 2024’s. I use to have a 4.0 FJ with the TRD Supercharger and definitely miss that rig, lol. What trim level did you go with?

    Love the look of the new 4runner-not sure of that 4 cylinder turbo long term though

      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  Місяць тому +1

      I hear you! I’m sure it will feel much more modern, and have the torque needed to manage larger wheels better. But will it last 30 years unopened? 🤔

    The best part of the new 4 Runner Reading the melt downs over lack of a V6.

      Lol, I can imagine. I love the 4.0, but I’m sure after driving one of these new ones the 4.0 will feel like a Dino 🦖. 🤣

      That sounds exciting to look forward to! Ignorance is bliss but maybe consider reading the social media forums on owners experiences with those two models to see how people have enjoyed them or issues to potentially be aware of. 🤷‍♂️ I’m hopeful they bring out a Baja Wilderness to compete with the Maverick and Santa Cruz. 😎

      @@AutomotiveAnonymous208 I have and both have been positive. My only concerns with the Bronco are the smaller back seat and cargo area. I hope Subaru comes out with a Baja as well. My uncle had one and it was awesome!!!

    If the '25 4runner goes well over 50k then I might just transition over to Subaru outback wilderness

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  Місяць тому

      I hear you. I’m assuming the MSRP is going to jump across the board just like the 4th gen Tacoma has. They’re good, but 50k+ for a moderately loaded TRD OR model is ridiculous lol. I don’t know that I recognize your username, so incase you’re new to my channel I own an Outback Wilderness and have really enjoyed it!

      @@AutomotiveAnonymous208 Subbed. Hows the DIY maintenance process with Subaru Outback or Subarus in general? Are they easy to work on?

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  Місяць тому

      Thanks for your support! I hope you find videos that you enjoy. Yeah, in general Subaru engineers have actually done a great job making most powertrains extremely similar between models. And the larger models have plenty of room to work on under the hood, while all the reservoirs, alternator, serpentine belt, and most maintenance items are right up top front and center. Spark plugs are expected to be a pain, but those are changed what like every ~100k miles or so? Any of my Subaru review videos I show under the hood about 3/4 of the way through the video.
